- Product description The MB5B is an extra-large and highly configurable front accessed meter bag. Once the bag is loaded out, it can be worn over both shoulders using the included backpack straps, over a single shoulder using the optional padded shoulder strap (sold separately), or at your side with over-molded gripped handle. The bag includes Veto’s proprietary V-SWAP interchangeable panel system and COMES WITH THE LARGE SIDE POCKET INSERTS, THE FRONT TOOL PANEL, AND THE REAR TOOL PANEL. Additional panels are sold separately. The bag features an additional 8 pockets on the front flap as well as a padded tablet computer pocket on the back. The MB5B stores a variety of hand tools inside the bag while separately storing 1-2 clamp meters in the 2 padded side mounted zippered pockets. Veto Pro Pac MB5B: One stop for service calls
I'm an electrician by trade, I love having a deployable service bag. I came from the packout top handle tool box that I had to dig through to get things. Only compromise was I could fit my wire nut parachute bag in that box, but I have no problem carrying it with me now because I have a nice shoulder strap on this bag to keep that hand free. Excellent solution for me. I can now see all my service tools at once and everything has its own place. I love that my meter goes in its own side pocket as well.The bag is Veto; super stout and durable. Hard bottom allows it to stand and not fall over even with the front panel open and loaded. I had issues with my older TP-3 falling over despite its solid little base. Shoulder straps are removable, so I crossed it up to do a one-shoulder sling style. They also sell a single sling for this bag.... And it's on order! If you're in the market, spend the money. Great 5 year warranty and a promotion going on now for a free tool bag, a decent one too! Only hurts once!
It’s expensive. Totally worth it. I have used this bag every day I worked for over a year and there is nothing wrong with it. Everything is holding up as well as I had hoped. I’m a propane and oil tech and this gets used all the time and holds everything I need for most service calls. The zippers are still holding up and I can access everything easily and it stays organized. It is hard to see inside so I added a led light strip glued across the interior top and powered by a usb power bank. I like that I can comfortably carry this heavy bag on my shoulders and have my hands free for my oil bucket and combustion analyzer or vacuum. It’s the greatest. I am not at all concerned about the cost after a year and I’m glad I bought it. Read more
