The media could not be loaded. We've been using this to track our dogs weight loss and being that they are medium to large breeds this was a perfect fit. Battery life is very good. Setup was pretty straightforward The only trick is installing the handle to make it easier to carry around when you need to move it. The scale is easy to carry around and we put a soft bed with a rubber backing so that they do not slip every time they get weighed. The scale does read 1 lb heavier than the actual regardless if there is the bed on top ahead of time or not. Once we knew this then we just know to subtract 1 lb from the reading, or we tare it to show -1lb before weighing the dogs. Overall great performance and great value. We use these for weighing show sheep and goats. The weights are accurate. They are easy to use and function properly for what our family needed. They seem to be holding up good. The price was reasonable compared to others I have seen and the quality we expected. Read more

I board and train dogs. I also foster dogs. Nice to be able to get a weight and have that for bios etc. the product is solid. The wire for the display can get iffy and the scale is place a certain way. I also found that the scale sometimes will register 2oz just because. Even after zeroing out. I got this to keep track of the weight of my cancer stricken dog. No assembly directions provided but my husband was able to figure it out. Once put together, this is a great scale upon first use. My dog that fits in a 42 inch crate should be able to fit on this fine (he was too scared to stand on it). The rest of my dogs and cats were perfect. The scale reads faster than my own person scale which works for a fidgety animal. We'll see how it works overtime but overall I am happy with this product. Read more

Incredibly cheap and flimsy feeling. The feet screw in and are just wobbly, the AC adapter would only work when angled just the right way. We tested against the weight of two of our bathroom scales and this was off, not sure if both of those were off and this was right but given the other issues I just couldn't have confidence in this. For something to be of livestock use I expect it to be used in less then ideal conditions and I expect it to hold up to use. With this I was worried about it lasting through just one use let alone holding up for a few years with all kinds of animals on it. Given the cost (while cheaper than the other livestock scales it's still a sizeable expense) I just didn't want to risk it before the return window. Read more

This scale is so easy to use and is not intimidating to our dog. He has no problem climbing on it and staying still while we read his weight numbers. It is solid and a bit heavy, so my husband does any moving necessary. Weight numbers are easy to read. Great way to monitor feeding quantities. We use it to check/monitor our vet's scale. Read more

We purchased this scale to weigh our two dogs as they were getting too big for me to carry to the vet alone. Best purchase ever. I now just weigh at home and pick up dewormer from vet without taking the dogs. The scale is very sturdy and accurate. Easy to use with a large platform. Read more

The cable running to the display is too small and too easily ruined. The scale is nice, and it worked great for about 4 uses. Then, because of the design of the cable, a hog caught its toe on the cable and stretched it, damaging the wires, and now it doesn't work at all. Was my husband too excited about starting to use his scale before finding a way to protect the cable, maybe, but honestly, for a "livestock" scale, the cord was way too fragile. Read more
