So far i’m extremely impressed with this Chinese heater. I must’ve read a thousand reviews like most folks and how too videos on installation tips. I could’ve gotten the same model for $20 less then the vevor, however the vevor had much better customer reviews when it came to contacting customer support for any issues. I’m far from being an engineer by any means but I’m pretty mechanically inclined and for anyone with a bit of common sense could rip one of these units down and put it back together in no time. I installed mine under the seat of my popup camper. It’s around 15 degrees out here and this thing has warmed up my little Coleman popup camper in about 45min to a comfortable i’m in my t shirt warm. Many folks mention the loud clicking of the fuel pump! YES IT IS, however it can be easily remedied with a couple simple modifications to your install. I wrapped mine in some foam rubber and mounted it inside a little styrofoam box I carved out of a packing box styrofoam chunk ! Anyhoot folks it works awesome. There’s a slow start and stop process as just like a diesel vehicle there’s a diesel type glow plug that needs to heat up and during shut down process it burns off any excess fuel, so VERY IMPORTANT, not to interrupt this process by cutting the 12v power supply or you’ll only cause yourself start up problems next time around. There are many YouTube tutorials and videos on installation and also on how to decipher instructions !!! I found many tips to be helpful in my installation. Also another important point. Make sure you pop your heater open and check that all bolts are tightened up including your glow plug. There aren’t many moving parts Or very much at all to these diesel heaters, in fact there pretty basic in operation, however it would truly suck to install your unit and run it only to find it wouldn’t start up or it runs, but you got a puddle of fuel laying underneath your unit after shutting it down. I read many of post with this very issue or watched people take them apart only to find that the head bolts were only hand tightened or even a glow plug that was basically just sitting in its seat, but not threaded all the way in.!!! Lmao I opened mine up and checked everything and all was good fortunately. Maybe mine was assembled on Thursday, who knows? Lmao Hope this helps anyone looking at this vevor 8k. I love mine. Next will be longevity. I’ll get back in about 6 months. 1/15/25 I’ve been running this heater nonstop since I installed it a couple weeks ago and it has run flawlessly. I’ve been changing the temperature settings up and down and also run it manual and by temperature setting. I have actually turned the heater off and on a few times with one shut down period lasting a day just to make sure there would be no restart issues. Again it operated flawlessly and restarted right up. I’m extremely impressed so far with this heater and believe it will serve its purpose of keeping my popup camper warm during cold camping. I bought my first one in 2024. It worked great keeping my harbor freight greenhouse warm throughout the Wisconsin winter. Even when it was -20*F. The fan started making extra noise and the fuel pump started leaking. (This is with a LOT of use throughout the Wisconsin winter) The new one that I just got is identical. However the APP controls have been updated to include temperature preferences and thermostat adjustment. (My only complaints with the older unit) Read more

Worked great for 2 weeks went to turn it off and fuse blew which stopped fan and smoke rolled out of intake at 2am but found leak in cheap intake hose. I thankfully installed a smoke detector over unit which did work Checked unit out found glow plug shorted i replaced glow plug and unit starts for 45 secs gets hot and then shuts down with glow plug error code E-03 Have trouble call into vevor We will see how they handle this . Update used the Vevor online assistant to talk to someone Left a detailed discription and they got back with in 24 hrs They sent a part which did not fix it I notified them and they sent an entire new unit I am very happy with there cust support Read more

Seems to be more trouble than it's worth. I finally got this installed this past Saturday and it worked great warming things up and I ran it for about 8 hours. On day two at the three and a half hour mark it shut itself down and threw an error code for a secondary ignition failure. All of the likely causes for that particular error code would make sense for a device that's been in operation for 9 or 12 months but not 12 hours. It's connected to a 12 volt inverter that is functioning perfectly there's no way there's any buildup but now I need to uninstall this thing and tear it apart to look for problems. The fuel pump is also very loud. I would not recommend this. Update- i took it to a diesel mechanic and the carbon build up was off the charts. Pics attached, this is 12 hours if burn. We noticed lots of scratches on the heating unit and vent fins. I think I ended up with a returned unit that was swapped into a new body. The circuit board casing was also broken. Read more

The VEVOR 8KW Diesel Heater delivers serious warmth with impressive efficiency. Setup was straightforward, and once running, it maintained a steady temperature even in freezing conditions. The automatic features—like temperature control and timed operation—make it easy to dial in comfort without constant adjustment. It’s quiet enough for overnight use and powerful enough for large spaces, whether you’re in a garage, RV, or tent. Fuel consumption is minimal, and the heat output is consistent. I paired it with a surge protector and fan-only mode rituals for added safety and flexibility. Highly recommend for anyone building an off-grid comfort zone or upgrading their winter camping setup. Set this up in my greenhouse to keep it from freezing over the winter. Working well so far. Requires a bit of assembly. Take your time and make sure you're setting it up correctly, and it'll work great. Note that it does NOT come with a 12-volt power supply. I used an old PC power supply. Read more
