Tl;dr : Someone without diy abilities, bad deal. Someone who can modify this thing to greatness, really really really good deal. And I think this rig is small enough to where people taller than 5'7 are going to have a not so good time with it, so, bear that in mind. So to start, not at the fault of the seller, but handling of the package was poor, so I'm missing bolts and screws. No biggie, I have some spare. Has a bend on a tab that mounts the wheel plate, but again, no biggie, it won't be hard to bend it back. Next, the instructions are vague, you kind of have to put it together following the picture of what it looks like, not what it tells you to do, or the images of each step. Given that the people who'd buy something like this are budget car guys, I doubt you'd struggle putting this together if you're putting a car together, ykwim? Finally, present time, immediate impression, not very good. The seat bracket is one half of the rig, and the connection that puts the halves together is... flimsy, to say the best. Immediately, I know it's going to be a problem when say, drifting. It's a good thing I have a welder, because I plan on welding a sleeve on one half to make a better fit than the flimsy inner sleeve they give you that is like a hotdog in a hallway, as in, not a good fit, and making a lot of play. The steering wheel plate is plastic, and without holes to bolt up a steering wheel, which I'd rather do over the clamps on my logitech g920 slipping and sliding. I have spare steel sheets that I could definitely use to replace it. Another instant find is that the gear selector mount is more or less facing the same problem. You slide it into the tube holding the steering wheel plate, and then slide bolts through all of it and tighten it up. But the holes are too big, and the gear selector tube is, again, a hotdog in a hallway, but more like a Pringles can, maybe. It's better, but not optimal and still jiggly. I think some riv nuts and mounting to the side of the tube will be a better overall experience than the original, so I'll be fine with that. I think, at the end of the day, given that it's a quarter of the price of a good rig, I think it's a good deal, since I can fix all of the problems that comes with it, and still save myself 300 dollars. If you can't do the things I pointed out, I'd say you'd be better off buying a more expensive rig. But if you have the tools and creativity to fix the problems, then I think you'd get a kick out of saving a lot of money. Read more

This thing is rough. The holes do not line up properly, the racing seat I have did not line up to the rails, and it was wobbly. I spent several hours adjusting the holes by either making them bigger or just tapping new holes in general to get this together. My racing seat is about an inch short of the holes so I will have to make a bracket so I can fully secure the seat to the cockpit. The shifter bracket was the most egregiously insecure. I tapped a couple extra screws into the side of the arm to lock it down. The steering wheel I mounted was the g27. The steering wheel lines up great with the holes (you have to drill the holes) and the shifter and pedals do not line up (you will have to widen the holes considerably). After making the adjustments, it is pretty sturdy and should last. If you don't have a drill with some good bits and some sheet metal screws or self tapping sheet metal screws, I would not buy. For the price it’s really good! Here’s the good vs bad breakdown Good -Easy to setup if you use your head and not the manual. Don’t get manual anxiety just do it. -sits low and feels more like how a real car feels if your into jdm cars or sports cars. Easy to drift and drive in! -fits the Logitech g923 like a glove! -has extra screws so you can get creative -perfect height for office chair but you need two pieces of wood about 1/2 to 1/4 inch thick as shown in pics. You may need to source screws some where but see how I mounted it. It feels super solid! -doesn’t move when your sitting, easy to move into another room. Slides on carpet just enough to make it easy to move. The bad - the manual is terrible. Many of the screws and things it showed were a little wrong. - you need to make your own seat bracket adapters but some wood and a drill and bunches of bolts and nuts solved it real easy - the box it ships in is horrible. It should be fine though but mine was busted to crap but the frame still was perfect. Kind of a plus more than a negative but yeah Overall as long as you aren’t a smooth brained impatient person, you will like this. Great for diy folks who know how to use more than a screw driver lol. If your a person who struggles putting air in your tire or pays some one to check your tires, don’t buy this. If your a person who loves to do stuff differently and likes to be creative go for it!! Also pro tip the chair I used is a Walmart serta office chair. Honestly I could have just used it without bolting it to the frame but it slides so you really needed to mount. At least two screws and to do that you got two options, drill the frame to accept the holes or make wood brackets. Read more
