This is my third set of five. They seem well made. I haven't worn most of them for long because I misplace them, but some have been used a lot and gone through the laundry one or more times. Just toss them in with my clothes. I'm a woman with long, narrow hands and these have fingers long enough for me. I usually wear a women's size 8 but will get something larger if the fingers seem short. These are size Large and aren't too big on the rest of my hand. They're lightweight enough to not be too hot in the summer. They're a bit tight for adding a warm liner, which I do in the winter, but a thin liner is okay. Economical liner hint: buy the acrylic gloves that come by the dozen or half-dozen pairs. Amazon has some. It works out much cheaper than official glove liners. These don't have a lot of shape, just a hand-shaped glove, but are surprisingly comfortable and well-fitting for the price and type. They're much better than the cotton gardening gloves I used to get. They are basic, minimal protection for tasks like gardening, not for handling sharp objects. I also have some of the padded version from the same company, which are similar to what I get from the big box home improvement stores, maybe a little better. Read more
I have been buying my gloves from H.D. 3 pack for $10 and I thought that is the best price for quality. These ones to me are more comfortable. I wear XL since I have very long fingers 10.5" from the wrest line to tip of my fingers and 4.5" total width and these fit me so well and room to breath at the wrest. These are specially great for summer work. Light and cool but sturdy. Not made for wintertime here, upstate NY. Will buy again :-) Read more
These are definitely light duty only (yeah I know, duh, that’s how they’re described by the manufacturer). Seriously though, Vgo has other models for a little bit more money that are also described as “light duty” but are considerably built sturdier than these. They key is the palm. These have almost nothing other than a thin fabric similar to the rest of the glove on the palm area. They’re essentially garden work gloves and no more. Be aware of that. If you do construction or something akin to it they wont last a day. Do some searching for the ones with more padding and “synthetic leather” palms. They typically sell in packs of three. I can vouch for those. They are an excellent buy. These are ok for the money and I’m going to use them around the yard, maybe camping. They won’t hold up at work. Read more
The measuring guide assured a perfect fit. I ordered these gloves to add to my protection along with a mask and protective eye wear from COVID 19. These gloves are light, easy to put on and easy to take off. We touch so many things without thinking about... ...filling your car with gas, the bank drive-through, and anything you can imagine that someone else has touched. I keep a pair on the dashboards of my vehicles (the heat of the sun through the windshield should kill germs). They wash and dry quickly. Great dexterity too (except on a cell phone keypad). UPDATE AFTER THREE WEEKS: The first pair of gloves has a rip at the base of the thumb in the web where the front and back material are sewn together. The gloves have been used three light duty times so I have no faith that five pair will last an entire work season for lawn care and have lowered my star rating two stars. I've worn one of the five pair of gloves twice doing lawn care and the gloves are very comfortable. I have long fingers and a large hand and I ordered the large size. The fingers fit perfectly and I can wear a watch without the top interfering and rubbing on the side buttons (something that happened on my previous old gloves). The extra gloves mean I have spares when a hole and wear eventually happen. Gotta love the grip and usefulness of these gloves! Read more
I do extensive gardening and weeding within my yard. My hands are are exposed to a sandy soil and these gloves protect with a great results from soils and thorns, poison ivy and such hazards. The wear factor is above the norm for standard cloth gloves. When wear occurs it is on the fingers, of course, and is why I buy these in the offered sets and the colors help in finding the gloves in the foliage. They are comfortable and fit my smaller hands, as well as my neighbors larger hands on shared projects. There is a good amount of size flexibility, and remain close fitting after washing or wet work. Bought these gloves for an overseas assignment when I forgot to pack my own and didn't want to spend $35 for a pair of fancy ones at the store. These are really good gloves for the price! The colors are a bit "loud" but I'm too old to worry about fashion. They are comfortable to wear with no irritation from the seams or stitching. I bought the XL size which is what I would buy in other name brand gloves and they fit good. Plenty of movement between thumb and fingers, no binding or pulling. Seem to be quality made, seams are holding up good so far. Would buy again. Read more
I run a steel fabrication shop as well as a wood shop and I wear work gloves all the time. About 25% of the time when I'm grinding or welding I have to wear full leather gloves but the other 75% of the time I can get away wearing lighter weight work gloves like these that are just much easier to use for picking up nuts and bolts and for setting up equipment or even entering data in a computer. And these gloves are great. The fingers aren't too long and they are really comfortable and they last a long time and they definitley offer reasonable protection even when I'm working with steel and running the band saw or the drill press. So I'd definitley recommend these. Read more
