Having been an electrician all my life I can recognize a good cord, This one is a good quality cord with a thick outer shell and good wire within. It fit the bill for our Shark vacuum cleaner. It is 32’ long. Installation was a bit more tricky than the average DIY’er may be able to do primarily because the OEM wires are directly connected to the circuit board and not removable sta-kon connectors. I replaced the cord on my shark vacuum with this cord. This cord is longer than the one that came on the vacuum itself, so that is a plus. It has only been a month since I have been using it and it seems to be holding up well. It does get warm like my old cord, but not hot. If it holds up to the years of service I got from the original cord, I will be completely satisfied. Read more
