The title says it all - this is my new favorite vibrating chair massage pad (I have had others), and I love it and use it all the time since I got it!!!! I use it while sitting in my office chair while I work at my computer, as well as when reclining in an over-stuffed recliner in my office. The vibrating function has 5 built-in modes. These include, for example, a mode with pulsing vibrations that alternate between lower back, upper back, and legs or a mode that cycles from gentle to stronger vibrations and back. Additionally, you can simply select constant vibration for any/all of the 4 vibration zones on it. My favorites are (1) the one that cycles between gentle and strong and (2) the constant vibration on all 4 zones. The second one provides a nice soothing constant vibration for me that goes from shoulders down to my legs. I find that it simply relaxes my entire body when I use it. Additionally, it has a heat function, which I always use (mainly because my office is cool). On high (there are two levels), the heat produced will definitely warm you up. Combined with the vibration feature, this gives a very satisfying and relaxing massage. It has one strap to secure it to the office chair and I added another of my own as well. As a result, it stays put on my office chair and is always there when I sit down to work. And when using it on my recliner, there is no need to attach it - it doesn't move around a bit on the fabric chair. I like that the power cord has a quick-release so that I can easily unhook it from wall power when I need to move it. Finally, the controls are simple and easy to use. I have purchased various different massagers over the years, but I have never purchased one from Heycool. But I have been trying to build out our healthcare supplies here in my house (I live in an institutional house with 42 people in it). I have never had a large heating pad, so I decided to give this one a go. I think the best way to think about this product is as a very large heating mat with a little something extra. The material on the pad is super soft and luxurious, almost a velvet feel to it. It is wonderful to the touch. The pad is very comfortable to sit on. Operating the pad is quite easy--just a couple of buttons on the control pad that control the heat and the massage action. Now the massage action is interesting in this pad--it isn't a deep massage at all like a shiatsu massager. Instead, it is vibrating discs. For me, it is like adding depth to the heat that the pad gives off. There are eight massagers in four different zones and they feel quite nice. In combination with the heat, they provide for excellent relaxation and some good pain relief. Another thing to know about this heating pad is its size. It is marketed as a full body pad, and for many people that may be the case. I am 6'5" tall, so it is not a full body pad for me. It is more a 3/4 body pad, providing coverage from my head down to my upper legs. I didn't expect it to be longer, as I realized I am quite tall. That having been said, it is still a substantially long pad--when it is on my recliner, it goes from the top of the back (behind my head) down past the seat of the recliner, through the upper legs. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. The addition of the 8 massagers really helps the heat to soak deep into my muscles and helps me relax. I was interested in getting a heated chair pad and this was the only one to mention using on a wooden chair. It works surprisingly well. Tried first time after a round of leaf raking and it did help relax muscles with heat and massage. The vibration levels can be adjusted, which is good because the highest level makes my chair vibrate. As others have mentioned, the pocket for the controller is too small but it hangs neats thru the rungs in my chair. Got this massager mat for my husband and I and it was one of my best purchases this year. Fits nicely in a chair covering from around the hips up to your upper back. Feels very soft material wise and feels of great quality. A nice, neutral grey color. You plug it into an outlet and it has a remote. There are so many different options to choose from on the remote. You can adjust intensity, massage area, speed, time and a mode that goes through them all. It also has heat that is not hot but nice and warm. It has a medium noise level which didn't bother us. It's very user friendly and comes with detailed instructions. Would make a great gift, we loved it so much that I bought one for my dad for his bday.
