Yes they will both work off 1 app (you can find others on accident), this is both a bonus and downside as you cant control them individually. It's a nice toy and a good price, with a lot of settings, but I didn't find it to be exceptional at what it's supposed to do. Two important thing to note... it's quiet but not silent, so wearing it in public is going to be problematic, The other thing is the thong - even stretched out to its max, it 36 inches in diameter, and I have to believe that wearing it stretched out that far would be very uncomfortable; even 32 inches would be a squeeze.
