Wanted to love these because they are sooo pretty and the height and sole were surprisingly super comfortable to try on. The gold buckle is metal, and the wedge is crafted nicely as well. Traction was fine. Seems well-made and durable. The color was a little darker orangey tan than I expected but still beautiful. I’m a true 6.5 and the sole was the correct size. Why 4 stars? And why didn’t I keep them? The problem was the width of the straps all around. The front toe strap is super wide. My foot slipped too far forward so that my toes were over the front edge. You may be able to compensate for that part with a ball of the foot pad. The heel strap was also too big and tightening the ankle strap didn’t help that part. I feel like the rubbing would have caused blisters. So bummed! I purchased in a few different sizes to try for my teen daughter as well. She has extra wide feet and a high instep and the toe strap fit her a little better, but the heel height was too tall for her and she said she felt like Bambi trying to walk. The heel was still loose though. Overall the sole size is true to size, but the width everywhere was just way too big and may continue to stretch.
