Have this on thick carpet, no cracks yet. You are able to cut these to fit around desks or corners, you will just need some heavy duty industrial grade scissors if you plan on doing so. Read more

We just got new carpet in the house and I wanted something to protect mainly against food and drink spills under my son's gaming chair. This may not only served that purpose but it fit so well over the thick carpet that it made the chair easy to roll and protects the carpet. This is a very thick plastic.
