We just got new carpet in the house and I wanted something to protect mainly against food and drink spills under my son's gaming chair. This may not only served that purpose but it fit so well over the thick carpet that it made the chair easy to roll and protects the carpet. This is a very thick plastic. I was worried that this would deflect too much on 1/2" pile carpet, but it is more rigid than I thought. I have had it over a year and it shows no sign of wear with pretty regular use of a wheeled office chair over it. Read more
Have this on thick carpet, no cracks yet. You are able to cut these to fit around desks or corners, you will just need some heavy duty industrial grade scissors if you plan on doing so. Read more
This did not work for the carpet I have. It rolled as much as the chair. I finally gave up and took it off the carpet and went back to rolling the chair on the carpet. Was very disappointed. Read more
