I fluctuate between 140-145lbs, size 10 jeans, size Small in tops. I'm Hispanic, so I'm pear shaped with wider hips and smaller chest area. I ordered a size Medium which worked well for my hips, but was slightly looser around my chest. The dress was comfortable to wear. I had it on for a birthday photo shoot and again for a dinner. The material was slightly stretchy since I *may* have been able to size down. The material is thinner than expected but not see through. I'm in Florida, so the thinner material works great for the heat and humidity. The color is more bronze than gold. The side slit and string helped accentuate my natural curves, and I didn't need to pull it up any higher than mid thigh.
