A Wardrobe Staple !
So I bought this based upon color and transitioning into the autumn season as a light sweater. Much to my very pleasant surprise I found this to be quite a substantial sweater. By substantial, I mean that it can clearly be a 4 season sweater. Cotton feel for Spring and Summer and yet ample wight for fall and even winter!. I bought the pink and it is simply lovely!. What was surprising is that I had expected a more clingy and thinner sweater based upon the picture and t the reviews - but this sweater can be dressed up or down - but on the up side - it can double as a professional looking business sweater over either a knit shirt or a tailored dress shirt with collar. The scalloped edges gives it a light feminine touch, but make no mistake it can hold its own at a business meeting paired with a skirt or dress slacks. The fabric is spectacular! a nice close knit that actually feels like a fine high quality cotton as opposed to viscose. This sweater lays nicely an does not wrinkle easily - yet it is soft and comfortable. I am not sure how it washes up, since I was so surprised at the very high quality and the lovely sweet color, that I opened the package and put it on immediately since I was on my way to the grocery store and needed a sweater right then and there. So this purchase never even landing inside my house before I wore it for the first time! If you are wondering about this sweater as an option for your wardrobe, end your wondering and pick the color of your choice. It is a very well made seater. It is not clingy, so you can most likely order on the smaller size of you like your seaters to be more form fitting. I am 5'7" and weigh 150. I ordered the large but could have easily used a medium. I am OK with the larger size this time since I will most likely layer this pink one for the winter - but if I order a second color in a darker shade, I'll definitely pick the medium.
