I needed a set of wine glasses, and when I found these, I had to try them out. I am glad I did, as the thickness of the glass is really good, and they look amazing, while being sturdy. They appear to be the perfect size for my needs as well. The box they came in was busted up a bit, so I was worried, but when I opened the box, there was another box inside it, and each individual glass was wrapped in a packing material that kept them safe. Apparently, they are dishwasher safe, but I washed mine by hand because I don't like water spots, and it was pretty quick and easy, and they look great after I dry them by hand (no water spots that way). I got this as part of a housewarming gift for my in-laws in a few months. They came very well packaged and survived shipping with no issues, but the box was very plain cardboard, so I think I'll repackage them for gifting. They feel high-quality and sturdy in my hand. Six feels like a perfect number for a small household. However, I will say that they feel more like a "goblet" for various beverages than a wine glass. The glass and stem are quite thick, so they don't have that delicate nature I look for in wine glasses. I might even describe them as having a bit of a "masculine" energy. These are excellent wine glasses. They're not fragile like most wine glasses. The stem is thick and strong. Very robust. The glass is thick overall and not likely to shatter easily. Their bases are wide enough for stability. They're low maintenance and can be put in the dishwasher. They're simple yet look so lovely and elegant. They're great for any kind of drink including water. These are the glasses to use for when guests come over and for dinner parties. Very happy with them. They're great value especially for the price. These are not the thin-glassed, dainty wine glasses that most of us have seen and used. These wine glasses are stout, made of thicker glass, a thicker stem, a shorter profile and a wider bowl. Each glass has a good weight to it, but they are not so heavy that your hand or wrist would ache or tire after holding it for a short while. These are very well made wine glasses and I am glad I got them. They will be great to use during the upcoming Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year holiday seasons. My household breaks a LOT of wine glasses. We're just sloppy. I DO like these particular glasses - as they are sturdier than most. They aren't as large as I had hoped, but they do the job well - and are nice for everyday use - as long as you and your guests aren't going out to the pool. These are made of glass - so pool use is a no-no. Definitely dishwasher safe - they do not easily break unless you drop them on the floor. I do see these particular glasses used in a number of restaurants as they seem to be the "go-to" product for a long-lasting, quality wine/drinking glass. Read more

I really like these glasses. First, they came packaged with care, so all were intact. The size is slightly smaller than a standard wine glass, but not too small. They're thicker and sturdier than many wine glasses as well, and have a slightly lower center of gravity than the ones we have currently (which are steadily reducing in number because they're so thin, fragile, tall and tippy). These will make great everyday wine glasses, that I'm going to keep in the kitchen cupboard, because they're clearly going to stand up to continuous use much better. I'm quite happy with them. These glasses are the perfect wine glasses! Nice capacity size, just the right amount to accompany a meal but not so large the glass becomes bulky. These wine glasses are just stunning, not only are they beautiful but very sturdy! They were packaged so well for shipping and were all flawless when they arrived, with each wrapped in cushioned foam paper in a specialty package. I felt comfortable using a wine glass during my workout this evening as the glasses seem so well made -- water tastes so different when you drink it out of a beautiful wine glass!
