These light bulbs are decent and priced relatively well
I read several reviews before purchasing, and I normally start at the one-star reviews. Most of those were detailing broken bulbs during shipping, bulbs that didn’t work at all, and threads so out of alignment that the bulb wouldn’t screw into the fixture. Several stated that they waited past the return periods to even check the bulbs out, so I understand that frustration. So take heed if you buy and test each bulb as soon as they arrive. That is what I did, and all 12 of the bulbs I purchased were fine. The light from the bulbs was noticeably brighter than the ones I had before. The next test will be to ascertain the life span-which I will do. For me, I consider the bulbs a good value. Read more

Not worth the money
I installed 3 light bulbs a week ago. One is already burned out. They are supposed to have a warranty, but who wants to spend the time requesting a replacement, easier to return. Wish halogen bulbs were made in USA. Read more

Good replacement for hard-to-find halogen bulbs
The are genuine halogen bulbs in the standard R30 base. It is becoming hard to find real halogen bulbs in any retail outlet, and replacing a single halogen bulb with an LED in a multi-bulb ceiling array looks terrible, plus the LEDs usually don't dim identically to the halogens. These are not cheap, and although I cannot yet comment on their longevity, they feel solid. Since the original fixtures were designed for halogens, I have no worries about heat. Read more
