Works Well Once You Learn The Heat Pattern
This heated lunch box works well and does exactly what I need it to do, especially for heating frozen meals. I usually add about ¼ cup of water to the container, plug it in well before lunchtime, and my food is hot and ready when it’s time to eat. One thing worth noting is that the heating seems to be stronger on one side of the unit. Occasionally, the food farther from that heated area can be a bit less warm. I wouldn’t call it a defect—more of a heating pattern you learn. Once I realized this, I started rotating the inner container partway through heating so everything warms evenly, and that solved the issue. For soups or meals with more moisture, this isn’t really noticeable, and gently moving the container can help distribute the heat. Since figuring out this routine, I haven’t had any problems at all. My usual setup is placing my meal in the container straight from the freezer (no thawing), adding water, and plugging it in around 9:00. By 11:00, my food is piping hot. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would still recommend it. Read more
