I absolutely love this lamp. I was unsure about mixing the gold in with my other bathroom selections, floral wall paper and black finishes. But it turned out amazing, chefs kiss! This light fixture is super easy to install and looks great in my moody/vintage/whimsigoth bathroom makeover. The only thing is I wish the arm that screws into the wall plate was a little tighter. The nut/bolt didn't tighten sufficiently and the light arm moves when you install the glass fixtures and bulbs. It is easy to balance back out after, so no biggie. This issue could also easily be user error and I just didn't tighten it right. Read more

I am absolutely IN LOVE with this light fixture. It has the look and feel of a true antique and the mix of black iron, brass tones, and cut-glass give it top-notch style. The glass lamp shades are thick, ornate, and substantial, and the brass toned trim on black help it bridge the mix of eclectic mix of ornate vintage and farmhouse rustic touches that I have in my decor. In what I guess is a trade off for its affordability, the fixture itself a bit more disassembled than most DIYers might be used to, so please be aware of that. You’ll have to thread wires through some lamp parts before screwing them together, which I found challenging because the part in question has a lip inside the ends against which the wires kept getting stuck. I got around that by pushing the wires as far as I could inside a drinking straw and then using using the straw as if it were a needle to thread the wires (and then I had to undo it and turn it around because I’d inserted them backward 🤦🏽‍♀️😂). You’ll also want to make sure you have a good set of pliers or hex wrenches to tighten all the parts together, or you’ll risk having the light fixture be wobbly under the weight of the glass globes—finger tightening will not be sufficient due to the weight of this fixture. You may even wish to add a rubber washer or a locking nut for added stability, but I didn’t find that necessary. In all, any trouble I had assembling it was well worth it for the quality and style of the light fixture. Read more
