I was concerned how it will be once arrived and when it came I was so happy. It does look like product picture. While it is not stiff it is also not as flimsy as some peoples pictures show. It is very nice and solid bag. I saw similar on Lands End site for over 100 dollars but this is beyond budet and also I don't want any logos on it. So this bag is very good and has so many sections to put things in: It has BACK zipper pocket so you can put your wallet and such so it is facing your body between bag and you so it is totally proof from staling. It has a zipper back on the flap It has two pockets ont he side for bottle water and some such when you flip the flap you find two front pockets so perfect for pencils and pens and zippered holders of that sort for art or writing. It has two big sections to keep books binders and computers. I needed it for 15 inch laptop that fits perfectly well and once you put laptop or binder it is totally perfect looking. MOST IMPORTANT FOR ME aside from style was the fact that I can actually LOCK the flap! becuase most of those bags have pretend buckles!!! no no no! they only have magnet and click so anyone at any time can easily sneak things out without you knowing this bag has two solid working buckles so you need to open them and close and that is what I needed. safe bag. I love this bag! I am partial to messenger/laptop bags rather than a briefcase or backpack and this one checked all the boxes. I love the vintage look, it's stiffer where it needs to be and flexible where I want it - it was struggle all around at first but I expected that and it has broken in really nicely. I've traveled with it when going back and forth to my work office and on road trips and there has been no damage in the 11+ months I've owned it - and I am ROUGH on my things ha! I'll be able to test how it travels as a carry on when flying at the end of September. I love that the main pocket is separated into two sections. My laptop has extra cushioning and a velvet strap to keep it safe and protected and then the front pocket is very roomy for my charger, notebooks, usually a book I am reading at the time, a bottle of lotion, etc. I have not had any issues with any of the lining coming apart , like some reviews have mentioned. I do not use the flap pocket as often, but when I do, it's usually where I put my cell phone and keys or anything that I need to access quickly and I haven't had any issues. I do tend to overload it at times, so it can get heavy carrying, but that happens with any bag of this type vs a backpack or two-strap bag. The strap has a moveable pad for added comfort. I'm 6'1" and the strap is long enough that I can wear it cross-body, which helps with weight distribution. I anticipate having this bag last a long while considering it seems new after almost a year. The material is solid. Lots of space. I don't like that it's floppy so i'm always either looking all over for one pocket or I'm constantly in the wrong pocket. And there are many pockets. It feels like it'll protect my devices and things if it gets wet from rain or anything else. I love crossbody bags, but this one can get really heavy very easily (because of the space) and even with only a laptop and wallet, as I walk it hits my leg. I adjust the strap, and it starts to make my shoulder ache. I guess you need to choose your poison with the height, but all in all, good buy. Read more

This is a great bag. It’s made from a heavy canvas and has tons of pockets and space. The cons: and these are the only ones I have 1: -Main compartment opening isn’t big enough to slide your laptop in. My personal laptop is 15.6 my work laptop is 14 and I have to turn it to put it in. Does not slide in. Once in there’s plenty of space 2: -the shoulder strap is adjustable. However I’m 5’6 and had to reall slide it almost all the way. After retiring my previous messenger bag, I decided to go with this brand after sone consideration as it is made with the same kind of materials as my previous one—which lasted me roughly 7 years—so I'm hoping/confident this will last just as long. Apart from materials, this product is spacious and perfect for carrying bulky items. I like to usually carry two books for reading, a journal, and a sketchbook with supplies. This is also with my wallet, keys, and regular miscellaneous items. Best part is that this item has a divider in the mai part of the bag along with many sizeable pockets in and around the product that endures easy organization without feeling out of place—everything feels like a natural and thoughtful expansion on the bag itself.
