I've purchased 4 rugs for my new home over the last 6 months. I fell in love with this design and purchased a version from another vendor in the fall, and dropped almost $400, but absolutely hated the pad and how THIN the actual rug was (it got shredded in a vacuum) was so I was excited to find this one. I LOVE this pattern, so I was very happy to see a version of it from this company. I was hesitant to buy it at first, b/c I've tried other "washables" and they're usually thin and cheap, but I saw that this vendor included a photo of the edge being almost .25" thick, and they also showed a pretty thick rubber backing, so I decided to give it a try. I am SO SO SO glad I did! It's beautiful! It is a very soft chenille type weave, and is a lot tighter than I thought it would be. The edges are of good quality and thickness. The colors are just absolutely perfect. This rug has an antiqued look to it. Like it's a cherished heirloom. It's got a good non-slip backing that is holding the rug well in my living room with regular foot traffic. The rug came folded in a protective zipper bag, and the creases were gone within a few hours of it laying flat. My mom, who is usually quite the rug snob, could not believe what I paid for it. It has the same feel and thickness as a super expensive wool-silk oriental she purchased from an antique dealer. She thought I was joking when I told her I paid less than $60 for it, including shipping. The photos speak for themselves. I took these photos using natural daylight, around 3pm. The color is very close to what you see online, perhaps a bit more rich/colorful. My husband usually complains about rugs, b/c he likes our wood grain floors more, but after stepping on this with bare feet, he admitted he liked it more than the floor! We'll see how it holds up, but I don't think this will be an issue. It also will easily fit in my washing machine, something that is extremely important to me as I have an elderly dog who doesn't always make it out the door anymore. And it holds fast to the floor. No edge rolling or slipping, at all. I'm going to buy another pattern for my dining room. Just have to decide which one! If you're hesitant to buy rug, don't be. You can not beat the quality and beautiful patterns, especially at this price point. Read more

Great quality, durable yet beautiful at the same time. Very soft. Colors are deep jewel tones. Read more

It’s so pretty! I attached the four corners to our brick kitchen floor with two-sided carpet tape. The rug is super thin and stayed put, so I don’t believe it will trip us. We have purchased other thin rugs like this and taped them down. It has worked well for us on the brick floors, but not if we use rug pads. This one is very soft underfoot, almost slick-feeling, and still has the appearance of a fine rug. The color and pattern soften the appearance of black appliances and pulls the room together with the blue Italian tile. Overall I am delighted with it. There are drawbacks. It doesn’t seem to vacuum well, and the instructions say to spot clean rather than washing machine. But at this price I would keep buyimng it. Read more

I waited to write a review until I had owned this for several months - daily foot traffic, hold up, washing... So first impression, yes this is very thin but it is incredibly soft and the colors are beautiful. It is absolutely the statement piece of my dining room. Is it hard to vacuum? Yes. So I flip my Shark suction all the way open and it doesn't catch at all (it just doesn't glide as well like on regular carpet). I also bought rug strips - those worked like a charm to keep the corners down. It didn't wrinkle or shift, it stayed perfectly put. The tips of this rug get heavy daily traction, and one corner in particular became quite dingy looking (it didn't help that a repair man stood on it with his dirty boots). So... Let's try to wash it. I have a 10x12 and my washer has a pretty big drum so I figured all will be fine. It was a pain. A royal pain. I needed my beefy husband to readjust this thing over the several hour ordeal to keep the washer from thumping as it was weighed down with water. The washer kept filling instead or spinning.... So 3-4 submersions later, how did it fair? Well, we had to lay it out over a table and chairs for 2 days, but it looks great! Lays great. Colors are great. That dingy corner didn't really get super clean because of the sheer size of the rug. If I had a smaller size I think it would have been fine. So take aways - I would buy this again without hesitation. For cleaning, I would try spot cleaning before washing and if I felt that was necessary, I'll hang it over the deck and wash it in the summer. I bought this for just over $200 which for the size I think is a steal. Read more

I was so tired of beige everything and wanted a rug that would add some real depth to the space. I was a little nervous about the “dark green,” but I’m so glad I took the chance—it’s absolutely beautiful. The variety of colors in the pattern makes it incredibly versatile and easy to style in different spaces. I especially love how well it complements the ottoman and pulls the room together. This is the 4th washable rug I’ve added to my home decor. With a new puppy this easy to clean option was a no brainer! Read more
