Vintage Pleated White Ceramic Wall Sconce Retro Walnut Wood Vanity Light with Aged Brass Finish Elegant Wall Lamp

I ordered 2 and ended up returning both. So these are very very cute and I purchased them because I saw in the description that the bulb socket was for an e12. Upon receiving the scones, the socket was for G9. Changes things a little but I decided to continue on. ( I did message the supplier and they did give me a little money back.) I had planned on using a battery lightbulb to avoid wiring because my walls are plaster and I didn’t want to connect them to the main line. But unfortunately a g9 bulb is too small for a battery. So I first rewired it with a basic lamp extension. Won’t turn on. I then wondered if the voltage was 9v instead of 12v so I wire in an adapter. Still wont turn on. At that point I had put too much work into getting the sconce to work. So I shipped them back. I am not an electrical expert but I have successfully rewired lamps before and this one stumped me.
