This says it's a man's bag and I can totally see a man using it. It's masculine in design but women can use it as well. I love the quality of the leather. It's coated, so it appears a little shiney, but it's ultra soft, while at the same time very durable. All of the compartments can be closed completely. The main one is zippered and the two outside have magnetic closures. This bag holds a lot and the outside compartments are perfect for things like phone, keys, tickets, passports, etc. The straps are great in that they can adjust to be long or short or they can be removed altogether. My husband wears a fanny pack at times and we adjusted the straps on this to be able to go around is waist and it worked perfectly. The color is beautiful and I feel like this bag is going to last a very long time. It would make a wonderful gift for almost anyone in your life. The price is terrific for such quality! Read more
Very nicely constructed. Solid stitching throughout, zippers and snaps are good quality and work as expected. The quality of the leather is very good. It's supple and smooth with decently uniform color. The strap is backed with a synthetic material that reduces slippage when the bag is worn over the shoulder. There is a lot of storage space. The large zipper storage compartment on the back side of the bag is good sized and will easily accommodate a small tablet or a Kindle. The front main compartment has plenty of room for lots of small items. My wife uses this bag and keeps her a comb, keys, change purse, etc. in the main compartment. The two outside pockets with snaps are great for a small wallet and cell phone and are easily accessible. As I noted, my wife uses this bag as a purse. The seller identifies it as a "man bag", but its easily uni-sex in it's appearance and design. I'm not sure what to think about this messenger bag for men as it looks more like a purse for women. The description states it is full grain cowhide and from what I can tell it is that but the waxed look makes it look otherwise and makes the bag look like its vinyl or something similar. I do like the various pockets outside as well as on the inside. The bag comes with a shoulder strap as well as a hand strap which is a nice addition. The quality of the assembly along with the stitching is good. Being that it is waxed, it will be more durable in wet conditions and its small size is suitable for travel. However, I'm not sure how much I can hold in this bag as I cannot certainly carry my 13 inch laptop in it as it is too large for it. I think a tablet will fit fine but I have the Samsung Ultra tab that has the 14 inch screen and that will not fit either. The bag should have been slightly larger to be useful for me. Read more
This bag feels very nice to the touch and is made of real leather, not pleather. The strap is contained inside the bag and can be taken out and clipped on. When I did, I found the clasps to be very strong- I tried to pull the strap off the bag and just couldn’t without manually unclasping it, which was very impressive. The bag has a large amount of pockets for basically anything you could need. I do wish it was slightly larger to accommodate my MacBook Air 13”, but I knew it likely wouldn’t be able to going into this. My iPad Air 11” fits beautifully, and so do all my other trinkets, my phone, my wallet, and so on. I carry this for my hour-long walking commute and find it comfortable to carry and stylish.
