The media could not be loaded. This is the best vegan sour cream there is. No nuts (unless you count coconut) or soy, and no freaking pea protein!! Pea protein has recently ruined several vegan dairy substitutes for me (if you've recently noticed you get a bellyache with vegan pizzas, or ice cream, or whipped cream, or even keto cereal or keto cheesy poofs, check the ingredients for pea protein). This one is not only very low FODMAPs, but it also tastes like sour cream when COLD. Unfortunately, when it gets warm, it completely dissolves and dissappears, so instead of putting it on food, I have a little it in a separate rammekin. I wholeheartedly recommend this for a cold sour cream substitute, but if you're melting it (like stroganoff or something), you're wasting money using this, as it melts down into basically starch, oil, and water. Also, it's not nearly as low carb as dairy, so it doesn't serve exactly the same purposes as dairy sour cream. But after trying all the other brands out there, I'm dead set on this one. The price is all over the map, from about 4 at WM, to 8 at most health food stores. Too bad WM never has it in stock, so I get it at WF where the price is much higher. Violife is by far the BEST in dairy, soy free alternatives!!! The sour cream actually tastes like real sour cream! The cheddar not only tastes like real cheese but melts like it too! All of their products are AWESOME! Only thing they need to work on is the smoked Gouda alt. It needs more smoke flavor and it's too dry . Read more
