The tooth brush was the same size as any other. The brushing ability was similar, but the bamboo seemed more flimsy at first until you got used to using it. It was easy to use. I received my toothbrushes today and was anxious to try my first. It looked so soft so I was surprised that, although it felt soft on my gums, it was still firm enough to feel like it was doing a good job of cleaning my teeth. And, it felt good to not be using more plastic! I have marked my calendar to see how long it lasts and will review again. But, so far I am more than pleased. Being bamboo, these are better for the environment than standard plastic toothbrushes. The bamboo doesn't affect the quality at all, it's actually quite sturdy. The weight is also similar to that of a plastic one, so it feels exactly the same as a consumer. The bristles are soft, making them easy on sensitive gums. My sister and I both use these toothbrushes and we both have sensitive gums. Not only were these less likely to cause pain or bleeding, but they didn't leave my gums irritated for hours after brushing. As if that wasn't good enough, they're a great price. I'll admit, I initially bought them because they were cheap, but they're me new go to. I will be buying more every time I run out. Edit: While my initial review is still relevant, I have coke to learn these mold quite easily if they're moist. You have to make sure they're kept dry in your bathroom and are able to air out.
