Visine has always been our go-to when we think of red eyes or eye comfort. I most often use Visine when traveling because it is usually accompanied by dry locales and lack of sleep which lead to red and dry eyes. I was pleased to get this pack of 12 little .28 oz hydrating drops. Having a dozen of these little bottles was pretty handy. I immediately put one of them in each of our travel toiletry bags. As I'm writing this review we are away from our wonderfully hydrating home of Oregon and visiting Arizona and have definitely noticed that our eyes have been dry and red. Sure enough, I found this in the bottom of my toiletry bag and was able to get some quick relief. I also shared it with my wife who commented 10 minutes later that her eyes felt a lot more moisturized and they were notably less red. The media could not be loaded. The first thing I noticed about these Visine Red Eye drops is the secure packaging that these bottles are placed in. Each bottle is individually packaged. When I opened the package, I then needed to remove the protective neckband from the bottle before I could put a couple drops for my eyes. These eye drops do a good job in helping me deal with my red eye issues, which usually come about when I am staring at the screen for too long. After an application, my eyes don't feel as uncomfortable or as dry. I don't feel the need to rub my irritated eyes with my fingers. To remove the cap, I push down on the cap while at the same time rotating it counter-clockwise. When I close the cap, it stays securely closed. I turned the bottle upside down, then right side up, and no liquid leaked out. Visine, of course, is a very standard and trusted brand for red eye relief. This formulation has their standard blood vessel narrowing ingredient (tetrahydrozoline) for red eye relief. It also has a standard dry eye lubricant (polyethylene glycol). I get dry eye periodically, especially during allergy season, and then I rub my eyes, which makes them red. The box is like one of those display type of boxes and it contained 12 individual packs / bottles of Visine. So, there are plenty of bottles for everyone if you have a larger family. Each person can have their own individual bottle or two. This also comes in handy in case you want to have a bottle that stays in certain places. Like one in your purse, one in your car, one at school, one in your desk at work. I actually prefer these smaller individual size bottles. That way I don't have to share a bottle with my boyfriend. We each have our own supply. Seems more hygienic & eye friendly that way as well. Of course, the eye drops work well. Visine has been a trusted brand for many years now. I think the price is more than fair at $15.99 for the 12 individual size bottles. These bottles are smaller but they are still a good size and contain lots of drops. These Visine Red Eye eye drops are actually a pretty good deal! Plus I prefer the .28 ounce bottles instead of the .5 ounce ones. They do not take up much room at all in a purse or pocket, and since there sterile I like being able to use a new one more frequently. Plus the price is actually less expensive this way then it is if you purchased the .5 ounce ones. Not a single thing to complain about here and definitely recommend! Read more
