I would have given this VISLILY sweater 5 stars because it’s pretty, hangs well, fits and is very soft. But I ordered BLACK. It’s labeled black, but is actually a DARK GREY, so 4 stars. It’s NOT EVEN super-dark grey…not even almost black-grey…but just a dark grey and very obviously so when compared to a black shirt or a pair of black pants. This is a very nice lightweight sweater that fits true to size. According to the size chart, a 2X should have fit me, but it would probably have been fairly fitted. I went for a 4X so it would be loose and I'm very pleased with the fit. I pulled the already buttoned sweater right over my head and on. The purple is really lovely. The fabric is really soft on the outside, less soft on the inside, but I'll most likely be wearing layers so that won't matter to me. If you plan to wear this as a shirt (too low in the cleavage for me), make sure to check and see that the inner fabric doesn't rub or scratch as it's different from the soft outer. Also, be aware that it's a shirt-hem sweater, not a straight hem. Good seams, well-sewn. Don't love the buttons, but I can always switch them out. I love the style of this shirt in the listing photos, but in reality, it's very different on a plus size body despite being specifically a plus size shirt. The pattern is sewn weird bear the top button area on both sides so it pulls and causes a strange wrinkle that's unflattering and annoying. I've tried to capture it in the photo with the arrow. It did not photograph well, but it's more annoying in person I promise. I also try to style it in the exact same way as the model and the photo. Despite the fact that it is my size and it does fit me as my size normally would, I cannot style it the way this model does without my stomach hanging out. See photo. So I decided to try with an extra button and tie less material. I'm able to do it but it's not as cute, loose, or flattering as it is on the model. I tried without tying any at the bottom and it just looks a little frumpy. It also makes the weird wrinkle near the top button more noticeable because there's nothing else to pull your eye. Now, if you're smaller than me and order a size up, this may work perfectly for you. I'm a size 22 and got a 3x. It's a little big when buttoned and not tied, but still not big enough for tying. So I would say if thing is your goal, order up even though it runs normal if not slightly large. It's very soft on the outside and looks like a winter cardigan, but it's actually very thin so it's definitely a fall shirt. The care tag says you can machine wash, but you cannot dry. Read more
