Vital 200S Pet Care Replacement Filter for LEVOIT Vital 200S and Vital 200S-P Air Purifier HEPA and Activated

I had a friend and her canine companion move in with me. It had been almost a year since I had a four legged friend living in my house. The first thing I noticed was the essence de puppy P.U. The second thing was the dust. Low and behold, there was a pet replacement filter for my HEPA unit. Adding this to my filter unit not only significantly reduced the pungent pooch odor but also nearly eliminated the dust that was quickly starting to collect on my furniture. I bought the Pet one; initial impressions are good. I can't tell if this pet one is better than the standard Levoit stock one or not, it does move more air so I kind of question its HEPA claims (it'll likely still be MERV 13 though) but at the same time, I don't really remember how well the new Levoit filters were because it was 6 or so months back. I don't have pets but I have carpet that's seen better days when I bought my condo and it stinks so I really bought it for the extra carbon pellets. The stock white filter is supposed to have 250g of pellets and the pet is supposed to have 400g (which I can safely say there are more pellets in these filters than the white basic one). No smell from these filters either which is a massive plus. The stock ones that came with the Vital 200-S had a bit of a smell but only took a week to air out. Overall I'd buy them again for the 2 that I have over the first party options. Do note though that the air quality where I live is already great and I have no polutants inside my condo (the VeSync app nearly always reports very good air) so I can't really leave behind a review about air quality, this is just for odor removal and the filtration is a bonus.
