The only treat my cat loves! She is one of the pickiest kitties I’ve ever met (credentials: i used to cat-sit), but she will RUN for these when I start to open the bag! They can be a tiny bit messy, since my cat likes to take them off her treat plate and chew from the floor lol, but she also seems to chew them quickly and easily enough that it’s not often too messy. Some of them are stuck together, and it’s a bit gross to have to un-stick them, but it’s worth it for my kitty’s happiness! They’ve lasted us a while — it’s a good amount for the price, which I initially thought was pretty high! The product came as described, however my cat did not like these. I tried them as a snack which didn’t work, so I tried mixing them in his food but it was still a no. My other cat loved them though so I’m sure it’s just a preference. Would purchase again! Read more

Both of my cats love this treats. They can’t get enough and I have to order more! It doesn’t have a strong smell and my cats love them. My husband tried a little bit based on curiosity and he said it’s tasty no wonder why the cats love them. It’s doesn’t have added salt, and it doesn’t taste salty, so I believe it’s a healthy option for my cats. My cats would fight over the treats whenever I feed them, they’re able to chew them with no issue, they finish 3 treats within 30 seconds. Freeze dried treat is a better option for us because it’s a simple ingredient without too much of added ingredient, it’s safer for my cats. My Bengal-mix kitty has never been a huge treat fan, she'll eat Greenies, but sometimes ignores them and turns her nose up at most wet foods regardless of quality, flavor or type. Only treats she really likes are Churu or Catit squeeze pouches, which aren't something I want to give her more than once a day. So I recently decided to try a few different Vital Essentials treat bags for my super finicky cat (also didn't want to buy treats that were loaded or processed with fillers and junk). She had no idea what to do with the fish minnows, she'd rather play with them, the plain freeze-dried chicken chunks were edible but nothing sensational and didn't spark any cravings. But these chickens hearts ... WINNER WINNER chicken dinner !! She actually comes running for these (pic: yeah she's on the counter, it's safe and clean). Tried the smaller bag because they're a bit spendy $$, thankfully the hearts are pretty large so I'm able to cut one into about 6-8 smaller pieces. Product is perfect. I have picky cats so only 1 out of my 4 cats actually ate it. If you have chickens though, they love them! No weird smell either except a roasty toasty smell. Will buy again! Read more
