This has been a bit of a lifesaver. The first photo is brand new, on my wrist. The second photo is after a couple weeks of hard wear when it's starting to wear out. I got this for Dequervains Tenosynovitis. The brace is especially helpful because I can wash my hands wearing it. (No more tearing off a velco brace and putting it back on every time I have to wash my hands — which is a lot.) The brace lasts a couple weeks, then starts getting a bit grotty, losing initial coloring and starting to wear and break down a bit. It's inexpensive, I'm good with a replacing it after a couple weeks of hard wear. When I first got it, it felt pretty tight on the wrist but I got used to it. It's unobtrusive and washable, reminds me not to put pressure on that hand, thumb and wrist too, provides support, and my hand and thumb are starting to heal and this brace is part of why. I switch it out with a cloth and velcro brace late in the evening to give my wrist and skin a break. My wrist is 6 3/4" around, I'm not sure how someone with a much larger wrist would do with it. For me, it's really been a help. I'm purchasing more. *Follow up: I've found I can extend the life of the thumb/wrist supporters when the supporters begin getting a little tacky by dusting them down with body powder. Read more

The Vive Clear Gel Thumb Wrist Support is an excellent way to have thumb support without drawing attention. I use them when I go to church or out in public to eat. They fit my hand well and give me the needed support for my arthritic thumb. I like the fact that I can wash my hands without needing to remove the brace. I wash them in between uses as directed and turn them inside out for the brace to dry. I purchased the medium which fit me well. They come in a set of two. I have already ordered them twice. The only negative is that they tend discolor after several days. Read more
The material was strong enough to give some support to my wrist, and stretchy enough to fit over my hands (my size in medical gloves is 7.5, large in general womens' or medium in general mens' gloves) but the fit was a little uncomfortable and a bit too tight for using regularly. I appreciate the water-resistance and might use these for washing dishes but not everyday support for my strained wrist. Read more
I was very disappointed with this product. The material feels very plasticky and cheap, almost like a rubber band rather than a supportive gel. It didn't provide any actual coverage for my hand, and the edges kept rolling up constantly. I couldn't get it to stay in place or provide any support. I've already returned it. Read more
Exactly what I needed. Great for my carpal tunnel pain. Adds compression without the bulk of a brace, offers even comfortable compression. Can get sweaty because of the material but I don't find it problematic. Read more
When I first used it, it was very lightweight, comfortable and it did give some needed support to my arthritic thumb. Many previous comments, thought it would be too hot to wear in warm weather, I live in Florida, but I didn’t think that would be an issue. My problem…after using it for a few days with absolutely no abuse, it ripped. Called the company since it has a 60 day guarantee, they were very gracious, and will replace the splint, but I doubt it will last any longer than the first. Nice idea, but try something stronger than a gel splint. Read more
If your thumb and/or wrist hurt (a la carpe tunnel); this silicone sleeve mildly compresses the area. I've tried several other gloves like copper or fingerless. This one is hands down the best for being unobtrusive and comfortable. I'm lucky and only my left hand has the pain. With this product I can just use both that come as a pair for my left hand. It is also very inexpensive versus all the other "gamer" gear. It should be noted that no one is saying this is a gaming glove but me here.. I'm the trend setter. Remember that. Seriously, get this if your thumb hurts but you don't want to wear a tan or black fingerless glove for support. The trouble is they wear down pretty quickly if you wear them for extended periods of time. However, if you have to re-order for this reason please consider speaking to a medical professional as prevention is only half the battle for some. I hope you didn't just learn about the frailty of human existence in an amazon review! Read more
These are a LIFESAVER ! And saves me from so much pain ! I wear it alone or under a brace that I wear when that thumb tendon gets really sore. This is my second order. I lost the last ones. After ordering these I found one of them. Was still glad to have more. I did trim them off a little tiny bit on my wrist so my Apple Watch could make contact with my skin. On this brand or another people said they had a small tear at the top of the thumb I did on mine -but only after a month of constant use. I also had trimmed a couple millimeters off because I have short thumbs. .Maybe cutting it left it without a protected edge like it should have. Even so, if it did start ripping, I would probably just cut it off if below the rip. They didn’t remain white the whole time. It could be I was using something that stained it. Even so I would still wear it -because it helps. I saw other brands that were much more expensive. This is the only brand I have tried. I will stick with this brand. Even if I had to order again in a month or two, the cost is not that much and they help so much I consider it money WELL spent ! Read more
