My pup has several of these types of balls, with the tabs. They are his absolute favorite. This ball comes in a small size that he can carry without tripping. The ball material is good quality, thick like a soccer ball, not easily punctured, cute print, plus it came with a pump and needles. Price, to me, was slightly high for the smallest ball but I've seen similar in the same price range. I would have liked for it to have more than the two large tabs. I understand the tabs are meant more for people to grasp for throwing or tug-of-war with the dog. I prefer a few smaller tabs added, that my dog can easily grab. The longer ones don't work as well for him. He likes to pick up and just run with it hanging from his mouth. Still, he's going to have a ton of fun with this ball. Read more

This toy seriously surprised us in the best way. The quality is fantastic and feels much better than we expected right out of the box. It’s colorful, well made, and clearly designed with active play in mind. My dog loves to play and absolutely loves it. The size is just right, and the straps make a big difference. They make it easy for dogs to grab, carry, and even play a bit of tug, and they also make it easier for us to throw. That small design detail adds a lot to how usable the toy actually is. It can also take a beating and stands up to some rough play, so light chewing hasn't taken a toll on this at all. It comes with a pump, which is nice and saves you from having to hunt one down. Once inflated, it holds its shape well and feels durable during play. We’ve used it both indoors and outside, and it’s held up great so far. Overall, this is a great toy and a great value for what you get. It’s quickly become one of my dog’s favorite toys, and I can see why. Outdoors my dog loves a tetherball, the combination of volleyball with a string is her pure delight. It gives her something to grab onto and she loves larger balls and is able to keep them away from you with amazing agility.. As you could guess, a tetherball is not the best indoor toy. So when I saw this she had to have it. That's her favorite style, soccer ball and it comes with large enough straps for her to put in her large mouth to play tug of war. It's large enough for her to use the same strategy she uses to keep hold on to the soccer ball so she loves it. The second I pulled it out of the box and started pumping it her ears perked up. And then I ran around the house with it and she chased me until she got it. She went crazy for it for about 20 minutes of intense play until she was exhausted. And now she's sleeping with it. This is definitely one of our favorite indoor ball toys and recommend it for any size dog. She's a large dog, about 80 lb. That it lasted her first play is a good sign for her the durability of the ball. It's a good value for the joy we're having. The ball comes with a pump which for the life of me I couldn't find the pin you need to pump up the ball. To save you some time it's inside the handle of the pump and pulls out. I opened this package and wasn't so sure about this ball toy, but it has been a winner for sure! My mini goldendoodle loves toys. He especially loves squeakers, but I thought I would try something new. This ball comes deflated, but a pump is included. It took me far too long to find the needle! It is hidden inside the pump stem which I love, but I just didn't know to look there and it took a long time for me to figure it out. The ball is smaller than a soccer ball and larger than a softball. It has straps on the side which do not slow down the rolling or tossing, but they add to the enjoyment by allowing him to play tug of war. He also loves grabbing a strap and shaking the ball to near death! The ball is intended for small to medium dogs. My Kip is 28 pounds and it is perfect for him. I could not imagine a yorkie playing with it. It feels well made. Biting it (as best as he can) hasn't caused any damage. It is made to look like a traditional soccer ball so there are designs all around but they are canine related such as woof and dog prints. At $14 it is in keeping with other toys about this size. While it is more than I typically like to pay, this should last longer that most of his toys so it may be well worth it. Read more

I bought this for my two 70 lb labs even though the listing recommends 20-40 lb dogs. The 6-inch size actually works fine for them. They can carry it in their mouths easily, and the two nylon strap loops make it even easier to pick up out of the grass or carry around. Both dogs love playing tug-of-war with it using those straps, which has been a nice bonus. The ball comes with a pump and needle and inflates quickly. It holds air well - I've had it for weeks and haven't needed to re-inflate it at all. The PU material and construction have held up so far with no damage to the ball or straps despite regular use. It's quiet and safe for indoor play on floors. The patterns are fun and colorful. However, there was a very strong chemical smell when I first opened the box. It has lessened over time but hasn't completely gone away yet. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing upfront. My main issue is with the marketing claims about mental stimulation and anxiety relief. While a dog could play with this alone, it's not what I'd consider a typical enrichment or anxiety relief toy. It's really just a durable soccer ball for fetch, tug, and physical exercise. The anxiety claims feel like overpromising to me. I haven't tested it in water so I can't speak to the floating claims. For supervised play and exercise with medium to large dogs, it works well.
