*THIS IS THE SAME DESK AS THE LISITING* Desk Shipped quickly but there was some minor damage to the corners. I reached out to the shellers, who responded quickly, and they sent me a new desk top promptly. Personally I did not like the dark color of the wood so I warped the desk in some lighter wood pattered vinal, hence why the desk looks very different from the listing. I also replaced the handles for the drawers with some I got from home depot because the black plastic handles they sent it with feel pretty cheap. I am very happy with this desk, it is sturdy and the motor to raise it up is nice and quiet. If you do decide to get this desk BE AWARE building it is NOT easy. The instructions are pretty strait forward and the pieces are labeled but this thing is HEAVY and I would defiantly recommend building it with two people if possible. The legs and table top do indeed ship separately and come with their own instructions on how to build each respectively. Witch is fine HOWEVER the two different instruction booklets tell you to build one part DIFFRENTLY then how the table top wants it. They also want you to secure that part with 2 screws on both sides witch they don't account for screw wise. Luckily they do ship it with spare screws so TECNICALLY you do have enough screws to assemble everything if none of your screws are faulty. Also the screws are NOT easy to screw in, I probably should've used a power drill instead of a screwdriver but the next day I had a blister from how hard I had to grip the screwdriver to get the screws in all the way to be flush. If you are going to build this desk 1. Be aware the two instruction manuals tell you to assemble it differently, follow the one that comes with the desk TOP and make sure it matches those pictures. 2. I would not manually screw in the screws (maybe drill the holes a bit more to make it easier?) 3. start early because building this alone took me 7 HOURS Overall I am very pleased with the finished result and I look forward to using this desk a long time. This is a great desk. It is very sturdy. It does not shake when I type at a standing position. It was pretty easy to assemble but it was not a quick job. I would have given it 5 stars if there was a hole at the back of the desk for cords. If I was using a desktop computer this wouldn’t be that big of an issue. Connecting a laptop to a docking station on this desk is not a pretty sight. Read more
