Pros - Easy assembly - Good build quality - Securely holds 20+lb monitor (AOC U4308V) without issue - Included 200x100 VESA mount bracket is nice (for my use case especially!) - Easy adjustment of height, spring tension and monitor position - Built in cable routing Cons - None Other Thoughts I bought this mount/arm to replace a dual 32" (inch) monitor arm/mount I was using. I moved my secondary 32" (inch) monitor onto its included stand and I wanted something that would be tall enough and could handle the weight of a heavy 43" (inch) 4K monitor (the AOC U4380V). The monitor I wanted to mount supports 200x100 VESA so I liked that VIVO included an adapter in the box. With the included adapter, the overall price was comparable and in some cases cheaper than other options which required buying an adapter. Assembling the monitor arm/mount was simple and so was mounting my monitor to the VESA bracket. Once I got the arm/mount secured to my desk and placed my monitor on the arm/mount, I was easily able to adjust the height of the arm/mount on the pole and adjust the tension until I found the right setting. After adjusting, I was happy to see that it had no problems supporting the 43" (inch) panel without issue. I was able to raise and lower it as needed and take full advantage of the monitor arm/mount even though VIVO only advertises it as supporting up to a 35" (inch) monitor. My setup may be "out of spec" for what they recommend but it works just fine for me. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase because it works exactly as I hoped. It allows me to have much better adjustment for my monitor than the included stand and it frees up some desk space at the same time. Read more

I recently purchased the VIVO Heavy Duty Articulating Single Pneumatic Spring Arm Desk Mount Stand, and it has truly transformed my workspace. This product lives up to its promise of providing an affordable and creative solution for monitor mounting, offering excellent quality and versatility. The compatibility of the stand is impressive, accommodating a wide range of monitor sizes, including ultrawides up to 43 inches. The adjustable features are a game-changer; the -35° to +35° tilt, 180° swivel, and 360° rotation allow me to find the perfect viewing angle. The heavy-duty pneumatic spring arm smoothly transitions the height by 12 inches, providing flexibility that enhances both comfort and productivity. Installation was a breeze with the sturdy desk clamp, ensuring excellent stability. Alternatively, the grommet mount is included for those with different desk layouts. I appreciate the attention to detail in the design, such as the multiple mounting options and the removable VESA bracket with various mounting capabilities. VIVO stands behind the durability of this product, evident in its sturdy steel construction and a reassuring 3-year manufacturer warranty. The friendly tech support adds an extra layer of confidence. If you're looking to elevate your workspace, the VIVO STAND-V101H is a top-notch choice that combines functionality, durability, and affordability seamlessly. Highly recommended! Read more

I got this as a way I can use my Wacom tablet. It handles it like a champ. No issues with it. Tilt up seems a bit lacking, same goes with tilt down wise. It's well strong and it's a good Alt to ergotron, if you are on a budget wise. Read more

This Vivo monitor arm is sturdy and well built. I am using one to hold up my 34" Acer Predator x34p ultrawide, and the other to hold up a 27" LG 27UL850-W UHD. The mounts are strong and hold up these large monitors with ease. There is a little wobble with desk moves. I am betting that has more to do with the motorized sit and stand desk more than the monitor arms though. This wobble is not noticed during normal use. Pros: > Sturdy > Price > Included hardware is quality > Clamp option instead of drilling Cons: > Adjustments seemed backward to me. I had to turn the spring tension screw to the minus side to get it to tighten up. > I wish there was a built-in level > At least include a level with the purchase I have always used Vivo mounts for my builds and I will continue to do so in the future. Thanks for a great product. Read more

I use a heavy 31" monitor on an Uplift desk. I have bought several arms over the years but never had one just be a good fit without costing $350 before this one. I tried the more traditional arm, but I found the pole mount design is better as it keeps the area under the monitor totally clear. That allows for pushing the keyboard under it / out of the way should I need more work area. A traditional arm got in the way. However, with the pole design, my large heavy monitor seemed too much for the two pole mounts I tried before this one. The pole would strain over like it was about to crack. Then, I was constantly battling the screen tilt on 2 of the other designs as there was no way to tighten them down to hold a certain screen position. if it got it just so, and then raised or lower the desk, it would move or swing unintentionally again. This one, on the other hand, has straightforward adjustment screws in all the key places and just holds the monitor very well at a price I consider a bargain. Read more

I ended up returning this item as it did not meet my needs, however it was an extremely well built product. The desk lamp was extremely secure, the spring mechanism was very well supportive, the monitor amount equally so. A height clap on the post made getting the proper height easier and held well the powder coat coating seem to be very durable and would not scratch off easily. I feel like it meets it's heavy duty description quite well. Read more
