I used this netting to build the trellis described in ‘Square Foot Gardening’, and it worked perfectly!. My husband built the frame from 1/2” EMT conduit, and laid it down flat. Then I took this netting and tied it over the pipe and then back to itself, using super glue on the knots to keep them from coming loose. (I’m sure full instructions can be found online.) Next year I will add another trellis! We mostly grew sweet potato and cucumbers on the trellis. I looked all over for a nylon netting to make the Square Foot Gardening’ trellis. This package has enough netting to use fresh trellising every year for the next 5 years or so. Super great deal! Read more

We are in the midst of putting a special soil mix in our raised beds. This year we are going to let most of our vegetables grow on supports to get them taller. We are using metal fence posts, we drive into the ground, then zip tie. The netting is tough. I tried pulling it apart. The material it’s made of will not have any problem with our vegetables weighing it down. We are facing some bad weather this Wednesday. All of our seedlings are growing under our grown lights. We are expecting a large harvest in approximately 60 to 70 days. When putting this netting up you have several ways. I had some 9 foot metal fence posts left from repairing our goat fence. After we pound these into the ground the construction will be real quick and easy. Read more

I used this netting to attach my cucumber plants to an A frame, and it works great. In fact, I have used the same piece of netting for two years, and see no reason why I won't get at least a few more years out of it. Highly recommended! Read more

Works ok as a trellis, starts to sag as plants get heavier. Good for one time use, gets tangled easily in storage. Read more

I have been using this netting now for two seasons without taking it down over the winter. It has held up to wind, sun, snow and rain. It was easy to install and the perfect size for what I needed. The trellis is lightweight yet holds my cucumbers with ease. It is very supportive and works with ease. Read more

This was a great fit for my long trellis. At 5'h x 20'l, I looped around the last 10' to have double netting at one end. Hopefully, this double netting will be a stronger support for the heavier fruit. The netting was easy to hang up and tie on a 1/2" conduit top. A few of the tie ends were shorter than others, but still long enough to secure it to the trellis if a bit more fiddly. I had zero problems with the net being tangled when I took it out of the package. I'm looking forward to seeing how it holds up to 3-10 lb. winter squash and melons at the end of the season. Read more
