I have great photos of this product but don't want to allow Amazon access to my photos - so just imagine shelves upon shelves of happy plants. Mature plants, seedlings, house plants that needed extra TLC... this greenhouse does them all well. It was easy to set up, easy to use and keep clean, and I love the ability to control heat and humidity via two air vents / window on the sides plus the door. The door clearance is LOW: I am 5'4" and find I have to duck my head to enter to water plants. The velcro on the sides for the plastic window vent covers is STRONG and I have ruined many a shirt by getting caught walking by and brushing up against it. But strong velcro is a good thing! It's just annoying if I have the windows open to vent the unit (as I do most days) and I brush by and snag clothing (as I do most days! haha). I bought this last Spring and have used it happily ever since. I have succulents, edible plants (strawberries and peppers), houseplants, cuttings, seedlings and more growing inside. It really is a fabulous small little ecosystem setup! Mine is inside, in my kitchen, so I can have easy and controlled access year round. But I'm sure it would be great outdoors too - but in a sheltered place as it is light weight and might take flight on a super windy day. Also it probably wouldn't stand up to heavy storms... I rarely write such glowing reviews of products. But I spent a lot of time waivering before I bought this - doing tons of research. I have no regrets purchasing this! Just lots of happy plant babies. I was so excited to receive this greenhouse to be able to have my herb garden all year around. My brother-in-law and his wife have this same one hand have had great success. We assembled it very quickly and easily and put my plants in there and it looked so pretty. However, the very next morning the greenhouse looked like we had a hurricane come through. It was ripped down one side and leaning, the frame broke and all my plants on that one side were dumped out. We had absolutely no wind whatsoever nor had we had any storms come through our area. This is our dry season in Georgia, not windy or rainy season. We made sure the greenhouse was level and assembled it as the directions stated. We even went a few steps further and watched a few YouTube videos and tutorials. We don't know what to do now that my plants/herbs are exposed to the elements and we're supposed to have our first frost/freeze next week. I don't want to loose my precious herbs that I've worked so hard to grow and keep all spring and summer. I'm disabled and this is one thing I am able to do and this just made me almost cry when I saw it all on the ground like that. I hope at least the company will make it right by sending me another one with a stronger plastic covering. Because this one is way too thin. Read more

This little portable green house has worked out well for starting seedlings. The front zipper door allows access as well ae ventilation on warmer days. I sat a temperature gauge in their to keep track so the soil doesn't get moldy. Zipping it all the way during the day will raise the temperature. Some seeds have already sprouted and it's only been 3 days. So I would agree that it does keep your plants from drying out for a faster germination. The only issue was the lateral poles wanted to constantly come out making it unstable. I was worried the trays would fall off and spill the dirt in the plants. So, I took it back apart and used PVC teflon thread seal tape. I wrapped a little around each pole before inserting then into the plastic frame. That worked well. So do that and it'll be great. My only suggestion to the manufacture would be, too put that remedy in the instructions it would save people a lot of frustration, and time. Read more

1. You don't get instructions per se. You get a schematic. It's a one page sheet. However, it clearly outlines each part and what you need. Start by putting together the base (floor). Don't insert all the tubes into the connectors FULLY. Leave it a bit loose so you can put in further tubes. When finished take a rubber mallet and a piece of wood and GENTLY tab the tubes into the connectors fully. The frame will only take you a bit over 1 hour to assemble. 2. Put together the entire frame first. Leave the plastic cover alone for the time being. 3. Carefully think about where to position the unit. Think about sun and wind, and seasons. 2 people can easily lift the frame up and move it where you want. 4. Finally, put the plastic cover over the frame and secure it. 5. The shelves will fit over the frame section; if it doesn't seem to quite fit over it, then tap those frame section in to the their connectors and re-fit the shelves. 6. The shelves are pretty flimsy; consider placing some kind of thin wooden shelf over top of them. 7. If you can't use the tent stakes, then be sure to place some heavy material over the floor frames such as bricks or really long plant pots. 8. After a week of opening one of the zippers, it developed about a 1" tear that had to be repaired. That's not a good sign. Keep this in mind: VIVOSUN does NOT sell replacement plastic covers!! You'd have to buy a completely new greenhouse. That's really strange and poor business practice. I wish they would explain that. It's just odd as heck that you can't buy a new cover for it. Oh, well. Just beware of this fact. 9. The greenhouse does get warm if it is sunny out--even in the winter. You can put about 2 small chairs inside if you want to sit inside it in the cold. it will warm up nicely. A small heater can be used as well, but be cautious about that. It's great for plants and for humans to improve your mood during a cold, but sunny day. 10. It does stand up well to winds. I'm not sure that howling winds of 30MPH or above would be good for it, but it does hold up quite well in normal winds. Hope this helps. Good luck. If you have other questions, just ask. Read more
