Vizio tvs are a great deal for the money, but beware because you get what you pay for. The TVs don't last and the company knows this, and will not stand behind their product. I purchased a tv and after just over a year it developed a huge dark spot on the screen. I called Vizio and they said that this was a known defect in the tv and they would replace it. I had concerns that they would replace it with another defective tv but they assured me that it had been corrected. The new tv again lasted just over a year. When I contacted Vizio again, they said that it was outside of the warranty and that I was on my own. If you do a search on Vizio tv defects, and Vizio tv class action lawsuit, you will see the many, many people that have had a problem with this company. A tv that you spend thousands of dollars on is supposed to last more than 2 years. Just remember you get what you pay for and if you decide to go with a Vizio, I would highly suggest you get some sort of extended warranty because there is a good chance that the tv will not last long after the first warranty is over. This TV is NOT 120 hz. It's 60 hz. Which doesn't matter since Vizio has terrible motion smoothing. Otherwise, I really love the picture quality AFTER adjusting it for an hour. Which is OK. I'm somewhat particular. I like vivid colors and a lot of contrast. Football was terrible until I set the TV to remove compression artifacts. That helped a lot. The only problem I have is I really like good motion smoothing and this TV just can't compete with my 3 yr old Samsung in that department. When watching 4k its even more of an issue. 4k resolution is useless when it looks like a flip book from the 1800's as on as the camera pans. Many people hate motion smoothing but to me it's essential. Every other aspect of this TV is fantastic. Read more

I'd say you get what you pay for.... Purchased at Costco for 1400.00 The picture quality is adequate of course it doesn't compare to a 3500.00 TV. The streaming video from Netflix and Vudu work great. The setup was easy.I'd say the audio is above average.the off angle viewing was surprisingly good. .the gaming performance is supposedly below average but i havent tested it Watching Blue planet season 2 in 4k was great!
