I originally gave this product a 1 star review (below) because it came in damaged, but Amazon was fantastic as always and quickly resolved this for us. After putting in my replacement request, I was able to get a brand new TV delivered to my home within 2 days, despite the holidays o my being a few days away. For an actual review of the TV, so far it's been fantastic. It was very easy to set up. As with all 4K TVs I've seen, you need to spend some time configuring it to output 4K correctly. However, that setup process was smooth and simple. Physically, it's a very nice TV. However, if you plan on putting this TV on a TV stand, be aware that it's feet are 51" apart. Many TVs have a base underneath the middle of the TV, but with this one you will need a very large TV stand (unless you plan on mounting it). Overall, I would recommend it. It's a great value given the price of the TV. Original Title: Damaged upon arrival Original: Unfortunately, the TV came damaged. This picture was literally the first time I turned it on. I've put in a replacement request. Once that gets processed, I'll come back and give an updated review. Read more

For nearly a year now I have been trying to get this TV operating properly. I would turn itself on in the middle of the night, then sometimes you couldn't turn it on with the remote or the power button. In addition to all of that sometime the home screen would be blank which makes it useless since it runs on apps that you can't see or select. At times that it did "work" it might take 5 minutes or more to boot up. I did all the troubleshooting and recommended fixes then they sent out a repair tech, but nothing changed. Because of COVID we were stuck a bit for getting in home service. Then a month ago the home screen just started being blank all the time. They eventually granted me a replacement which arrived today and it has a line of dead pixels running down the screen. UPDATE: Vizio eventually agreed to send a brand new instead of refurbished unit after I called them and demanded my money back on this POS. They told me they COULD NOT REFUND because “they didn’t sell it to me”. Yeah that’s the kind of BS you’ll get from Vizio, as if anyone buys from them. The ONLY bright spots are the new unit so far has functioned ok and we changed TV providers so actually now have for the first time some 4k content to watch. I still highly recommend NOT buying this TV and NOT buying any Vizio for two reasons: 1) the obvious BS customer service I’ve already explained 2) Vizio is not ROKU they have their own operating system and YOU CANNOT ADD APPS!!! Yes THEY decide when or if to add apps. We had the original TV we bought in 12/2019 for months before THEY decided to add Disney+, until then we had to stream on iPhone and “cast” to TV, this also applied to FOOD network at first😳 All of that said I bought a 55” TV at Best Buy for my 18 year old son almost two years ago, never had a problem with it, didn’t even realize it was a Vizio until all of this happened. He uses it differently though never trying to view apps it didn’t have. Read more

Before purchasing my 65" VIZIO Quantum 4K, I literally spent months doing research. Some background: I'm a gamer and streamer. In my home, we use PlayStation Vue for television, I play a lot of PS4, and we watch Netflix and Amazon Prime seemingly every night. The TV is a pretty important fixture in the home, to say the least. Oh, and I'm also obsessed with watching sports on TV - NFL/NBA/MLB and Premier League soccer. From my perspective, the TV had to deliver for each of those mediums. I knew I wanted either a 65" or 75" 4K TV, and was pretty certain I was going to end up with a Samsung, Sony, or LG. After taking my first trip to Best Buy to see a few of the models up close and in person, I realized that Vizio had to be included in the discussion. Compared to the other sets, the color pop on the Vizio was simply something I couldn't ignore. While continuing my research, I started trending towards the VIZIO.. which kind of surprised me. It met all of my requirements though! Deep blacks with a 240hz refresh rate were a must. I was coming from a 60" Samsung Plasma with a 600hz refresh rate. Sure, only 1080P.. but I had a hard time justifying a new TV since I loved it. I also knew I was looking for either a 65" or 75" TV, and 4K with HDR was pretty much assumed as well. For those of you looking at other 4K's, I challenge you to take a super hard look at this one from VIZIO. The bevel-less design is gorgeous, the color and vibrancy are amazing, and the 240hz refresh rate means 4K content is truly amazing. I did end up wall mounting this, and the result is amazing. Oh, and I was pretty sold on getting a 75" version until I measured it on my wall. If you're thinking the 65" is not going to be big enough, you may want to measure the dimensions on your wall with painter tape. Sitting about 6 feet away, this TV feels HUGE. I think the fact that it's so bright plays a factor as well. Having it wall mounted with a slight tilt down makes a big difference as well, in my opinion. I did read a few reviews that said the side-angle viewing was disappointing.. but honestly I just don't understand where they're coming from. Frankly, I vehemently disagree that this TV is lacking in any area. In Summary: this VIZIO is OUTSTANDING. Better than many of the more-expensive sets out there, and I can't say enough about how amazing it is. Going from 1080P to 4K was always going to be a big step forward for me, but this particular set has straight up blown away my expectations. For the price, I don't think you can do any better at all. Don't even hesitate for a second. This is the one. Read more

Great TV Overall - got a great deal with a Deal of the Day promotion! The picture quality looks great. Upscaling from a regular blu-ray looks great to me so far. The major issue is going to be the-built in software - SmartCast! Getting casting to work on different networks seemed very difficult. I had to hard boot the TV a couple times to get it to work - but getting casting to work on a different wifi access point just would not take... There are also a couple of times where after startup the volume would totally flake out - ie - too low or insanely high - use a soft or hard reboot!!! SO - the lessons here are: bring your own streaming stick if it is a 4K stick - use HDMI input 1 or 5 the single USB input isn't powered - so NO wireless keyboard support! OUCH! Read more
