Honestly, way better quality than I expected, with thoughtful features
I didn’t realize I was as picky as I was about jewelry boxes until I started looking for one. It seemed like there were only super expensive $200+ options, or really cheap dubious-quality ones. I looked at ones made of plastic, wood, leather, PU leather, fabric etc. I had three main requirements: it must have hanging storage for necklaces (ideally with the pouch at the bottom to catch it so the dangling length wouldn’t get caught opening and closing); it must be able to store chunkier pieces, and it must be aesthetically pleasing since it would be relatively large and on display. This one fit the bill, but didn’t have nearly as many reviews, and was from a company I didn’t know. But I decided to give it a try anyway. It arrived in perfect condition and was carefully packaged. I was worried about the mirrors but it showed up completely fine. The material of the box itself feels surprisingly thick and substantial and the whole box has a little bit of heft to it. The inner lining is soft, and the light color makes it easy to see your jewelry inside. The magnet that holds the doors closed is strong, and I much preferred this to the button snap closures I saw on some other options. It holds a ton, and I appreciated all of the dividers. You can also remove the dividers if the exact layout doesn’t work for your needs. The bracelet holder was also something I didn’t see in many other boxes and is much appreciated as it stores them much more efficiently. The alternative would have been them each requiring their own little divider section, or just throwing them all loose into an undivided drawer, so it’s a nice detail I didn’t know I needed, but now wouldn’t go without. Lastly, I think it looks beautiful on my dresser in my closet. I recycled my previous tiny jewelry stand to hold headbands and hair accessories (see final photo), and together, they’ve made my dresser much neater! Read more
