We purchased these for the steps leading up to our back porch. They charge very well during the day (lots of sunlight), and the lights shine a long time in the evenings. They are not only beautiful but practical. Our steps extend about 20 feet across, so we put two touching in the middle of each step with the non-lit side together. There is plenty of light to extend almost to the end of the 10-foot stretch on each side, but most people gravitate toward the center, where the lights are, which is what we prefer for safety. I was on a quest this year to get rid of all the extra wires and plug-ins. My outdoor lighting was hardwired, so this was an undertaking. I got these to add something extra to my deck, and they worked great. They add just the right amount of subtle light from dusk to dawn and give a perfect glow that I was going for. I was very happy with these lights but in the last 2 months, 2 lights stopped working. I've had the set for 14 months total. I tried troubleshooting through Amazon and the products website each time but still not working. With that being said, the lights are bright and light up my front house steps. Read more
Lights are very bright. Well made. Looks like runway lights!!! Love them. We bought the white or bright. Easy to install with the screws ( not enough screws). Only had them in for a week. We’ll see how long they will last. Read more
This is the best purchase I’ve ever made from Amazon. Three years in and they’re still working great. They charge up even on cloudy days (though sunny days give the best results). < 1 minute to put them on the steps and they give great light at night. Super good value for the money. Read more
While lovely, they don't last very long. We've tried replacing batteries inside the lights, but they still do not work. We've had ours installed for just under six months, and they're already failing. When working, the light quality was wonderful, and the size makes them perfect for steps, fence post tops, or other places you'd want lit up. We never had any issues with flickering -- when they were done they just quit working. Would not buy again. Read more
