This backpack was worth the 200.00. I love the extra compartment for tablet/laptop and the main compartment has so much room. I didn’t write a review immediately because i wanted to see how it worked for being a general commuting/work backpack. To say the least its very comfortable and the solar charged battery is a lifesaver. I use my iPad Pro 12.9 for work and i am always on the go. I haven’t used the whole battery but it has been more than enough to give my iPad enough juice to get things done and have enough charge left over to charge my AirPods and iPhone 7 Plus. I highly recommend this backpack. Update (26 August 2018) Still amazing. This pack gives me a lot of convenience and is very sturdy. Would recommend to anyone. So far I have used to to hold my work stuff, hike and bike in San Diego. Read more

I’ll start with this is my 3rd backpack from Voltaic. As in I’ve had one of their backpacks as my daily driver for 15 years now. I recently upgraded to this one. It’s been a month and once again I’m very elated to have paid a higher price for a higher quality pack. One of my coworkers even commented that the material is of high quality… and it’s “green” too! If you’ve read this far. Just treat yó self! The last one I owned still works I just wanted the new battery and backpack. Take note it’s hard to tell but the “camera insert” that you see in the photos of the bag open. Does NOT come with the bag and I’m not sure they still sell them. Again this is a well made backpack that’s going to be my daily driver for some time now. So get yours! Read more

My husband and I went to the black hills and stayed at Lake Pactola which is a primitive camp ground. When I saw this backpack I thought PERFECT! This will work to charge our phones. But guess what, this p.o.s. didn’t work. The battery pack was dead after one charge and we had to go an entire week with dead phones. A full day in the sun and the battery pack was STILL DEAD! So we had a $1000 iPhone paperweight. Don’t buy this backpack because it’s garbage. Read more

Ok. First off, for the money you can get a better backpack or a better pannel... It does not automatically start working thats dum. It uses a micro usb (non upgradable) to charge things, like a laptop? It only works IF the sunlight is good enough... Ok? This RULES OUT ALL PNW. I say, buy all aspects separate...
