i’ve purchased these batteries on several occasions and never been disappointed. They are very reasonably priced and more importantly they work well. I like to have extra batteries on hand so that I don’t need to run to the store every time I need to change a battery and Appliance or an item great deal. I definitely recommend them long battery life they work well just like the namebrand. Read more

The received 4 pack of alkaline batteries was well packaged and only two were needed - one for a smoke alarm and one for my DMM. The brand name Voniko is unknown to myself, however the 4 pack was a good value for the money and it was a good time to test this brand for battery life. Read more

I purchased a 24 pack of these offbrand batteries because the price per unit was only a few cents more than a dollar. My home has 8 smoke alarms and my lady friend who lives next door has 9, so we are essentially replacing 17 nine volt batteries per year which over time adds up to a substantial amount of money. (my alarm systems are hard wired together with the batteries used as a back-up in case of a power failure) Firstly the batteries are the exact same dimensions as the name brand ones, which is important because I have encountered several brands that are larger and can make installation in the limited space of a smoke alarm somewhat frustrating. Secondly, I tested the voltage of a new battery with my digital voltmeter and it registered 9.69 volts. Every new 9 volt that I have ever tested has had a voltage of at least 9.45, so this is good. Smoke alarms can sometimes begin chirping when the voltage falls to just under 9 volts so. Thirdly, the installation of this battery immediately stopped the chirping of the alarm. As for the final metric, durability, I am unable to comment at this time as the first battery that I installed has been in use for 9 months or so. Thus my 5 star rating is provisional until at least a year has passed with no problems. If these batteries do indeed last a year (or longer) then the cost savings over the name brands will indeed be substantial. Branded 9 volt batteries typically run between 3 and 4 dollars each, so the replacement cost for the 17 smoke alarms that I am in charge of would be 17 dollars with these batteries versus 50 to 70 dollars with the name brand. Over a 10 year period, the price differential for me would result in a savings of 350 to 500 dollars, more than the cost of replacing all of the smoke alarms themselves. (which you are supposed to do every 10 years according to the manufacturers) So far so good! Read more
