If my boy would let me put the drops in more than once or twice then it probably will be cleared up by now but he's awful about that about the only thing he unless we do is hold the cold cloth over his eyes so I have to sort of trick him but the product does work Read more

SOOTHES & CLEANSES I tried this on my kitty who had some watery eye discharge that wouldn’t go away. It’s odorless & didn’t burn or bother her. It functioned well to sooth & clean her eye, but after 3 days of use the discharge kept coming back, so I changed to an antibiotic eye gel & it finally cleared up. In fact, the packaging directions state “…To Relieve and Promote All Round Positive Eye Health + Hygiene! Flush Away Dirt, Debris and Stop Your Dog's or Cat's Eyes Itching,” so definitely only meant to soothe & cleanse. DIFFICULT TO DISPENSE It’s not easy to use because it’s hard to dispense. It doesn’t come w/ the normal dropper tip. Instead, you have to cut a hole in the tip & squeeze. First I cut a small hole but nothing was coming out, so I cut a bigger hole. Since the bottle is stiff/ hard, I have to squeeze hard, but then it squirts out too much. It’s just not the right type of bottle to dispense eye drops. UNCLEAR INGREDIENTS & MADE IN CHINA The listing does not include an actual list of ingredients, so I’ve included a picture. The ingredients are listed as: Water, Antimicrobial peptide, NaCl, Oat glucan, Glycerin, PFG-400. “Antimicrobial peptide” is an ambiguous term instead of listing the specific peptide/s name. I did some research & found out that as per FDA & AVMA cat eye drops, whether OTC or prescription, must specify the exact established name of each active ingredient since a generic term is not sufficient for regulatory compliance or consumer safety. Then I realized neither the listing, nor the bottle, nor the box mention a country of manufacture. There’s an address on the box in Ireland but it seems like the distributor. I researched & found out these are made in China so not only are they not FDA regulated, but they’re not even made in the US in a facility that operates under FDA-regulated GMPs. I realized all this after I had already used the drops, but thankfully they were safe for my kitty. But, the lack of transparency is still offsetting as both the country of manufacture & list of ingredients (with exact ingredients) should be included, so we can make our own informed buying decision, especially when it comes to products for our fury loved ones. I don’t find these to be a good value for the price since they’re 2oz & for about the same price you can get an easier to use 4oz bottle of a US made eyewash here on Amazon. Read more
