I only write reviews when I am impressed or significantly disappointed. These socks ROCK. Here's why. Material: being primarily if not all synthetic, they will KEEP THEIR COLOR and won't look like garbage after just a few washes like COTTON. Cotton is awful for socks. COMFORT BAND: These socks have a nice WIDE what I call a "comfort band" at the top of the sock which is very comfortable and keeps the sock SECURED on the leg. This is in direct opposition to many socks out there which have a NARROW elastic band which DIGS into your leg over the day and leaves a very VISIBLE RED RING on your leg where your blood vessels have been restricted. Comfort: these socks are very comfortable - you know you have a WINNER sock when you really can't even feel it. Material thickness: this is more of a dress sock and the material feels substantial, soft, of high quality. Overall a high quality sock - time will tell if they hold up, but so far I am very impressed and I am tough to impress. I always ask myself: why is it so DIFFICULT TO SIMPLY FIND NICE DRESS SOCKS ??? I bought 10 pair (quantity of two 5-pair) 8 months ago and half, 5 pairs, have been discarded due to holes in the heel after normal wearing. I do not use these socks for running or hiking - casual and dress daily wear. SO comfortable and high quality. I do use COLD water wash - and the socks and the elastic are still like new - but they are not so durable as polyester /cotton blend socks. Ordering more today - worth it to me! Read more
