At first I was kind of skeptical abkut this generator because of being an off brand. The design of the generator makes the functionality easy; Everything is in one central location. Depending of your use the battery life can last for a while. My wife and I did a road trip from Michigan to Minnesota and back; the batter barely drained. Then again we used the solar charger a lot. When it was not charging the battery lasted for 12 hours; but all we were doing was charge our phones. Having a computer hooked up; the battery lasted 6 hours; due to more power being drawn. It works when you go camping and the solar panel charges with no issue. I plan to buy more to cycle through as one dies go to the next. The size is as described; the only awkward part is the solar panel. I personally think it is worth the investment; more so if you are trying to travel light but want portable power. This has pass through power is a lithium iron battery making it safer and not as susceptible to extreme temperatures as other batteries. Use it for lighting , charging phones and my CPAP while camping. Will run my CPAP for ten hours in addition to charging phones and using as a light source intermittently. Bought the jumper cable attachment also and actually had to use it on our camping trip when truck battery died. Had 9 percent battery left as we were getting ready to leave to go home. Truck battery had died due to light being left on inside. This thing jumpstarted our Dodge ram instantly. Very impressed with this product so far . Taken it on four camping trips now. Oh we also use it to blow up our queen air mattress 😁 yeah, I'm old and sore, we tent camp still but in comfort.lol highly recommend! Also comes almost fully charged mine was at 82 percent I chose this because it has good ratings and has expandable power. Only small power station with this capability. I didn't have the cash to get a bigger one right now but when I buy the extra battery later this will give me 1200 watts with 2400 watt surge. I recently purchased this Power Station to use for camping and outdoor use. The unit is really high quality for the price and is more than sufficient to charge your phone, use laptop and other portable devices. I wanted to get a unit where I wouldn't drain my truck battery and also have the ability to use small appliances such as a portable fan, portable cooler, small cooking units and anything else I might need that requires AC use. This unit was able to handle it for three continuous days of use. I chose the VTOMAN over the Jackery because I really liked the design and over value of the unit. I think what drew me to it primarily was the light, that is much larger than other units on the market. The handle is also sturdy and in a good location for lifting the unit, that weighs a reasonable 15 pounds. I also liked the position of the AC outlets in the front and location of the USB ports for charging my wireless devices. It does take a long time to fully charge (8-12 hours), but for using items with small wattage requirements it gives you all the power you need. Amazon says it is gas powered, but that is an error because you either need to plug it into an AC outlet or can you buy the optional solar panels to charge it. I did end up returning it because I ended up getting a larger power station capable of lasting longer and able to handle larger items for a longer period of time. It is much lighter in weight then the larger power stations and could be an option to hook up a trickle charger to your battery or for other emergency situations. But if you are looking for something to use sparingly or to charge your wireless devices while camping, then this is more than sufficient. It also is something you can use when the power goes out and be a great backup for your electrical needs in the garage when working on a project and don't want to use lengthy electrical cords. Came very well wrapped and boxed. Light enough to move around easily. Reasonable price. This should power and charge my phone, car camping lights, car fans, etc. 600 watts with V technology it'll surge up to 1200 watts. Can be charged 3 ways solar...car...wall outlet. This is a edit of my previous review....after using this power station. I found that it will not run my 150 watt car heater and it should! It keeps shutting off I am currently waiting for customer service to rectify this problem. Once rectified, I will submit a final review. Ok this is my final review of the Vtoman jump 600x power station. After speaking with John (customer service) I was informed that the DC port will not run something that is 150watts...but the AC port will. I didn't know that... now that I do, I can recommend this power station and I do! I took it car camping and it performed well. John over at Vtoman customer service was great and very helpful. Hats off to Vtoman! I'm planning on purchasing a more powerful power station and I'll probably go with Vtoman because I know if something is not right they'll fix the problem. Read more
