It’s compact, lightweight, and doesn’t need electricity, which makes it great for travel, camping, or anyone short on kitchen space. The build quality feels sturdy, and the pump action is smooth and easy once you get the hang of it. For the price, it’s impressive how close it gets to café-style espresso. That said, the biggest drawback is temperature. The coffee doesn’t come out piping hot—it’s more on the warm side, which takes away a bit from the espresso experience. You can work around this by preheating the cylinder with hot water before brewing, but even then, it’s not as hot as a traditional machine would make it. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, portable espresso option and don’t mind slightly cooler shots, the Minipresso GR2 is a smart buy. Bought this thinking it probably would not work. Unboxing and settling up were fiddley but ok . I was surprised to discover that it did produce espresso .
