This is my fourth Wacoal "body". I had lived my entire adult life wearing poorly fitted bras, in other words, I was guessing blindly. So, I've put up with discomfort and very little in the way of support. I'm 63 years of age and thought I was supposed to be wearing a 38 to 40 B or C. Visiting my sisters this past summer, at a Dillard's, on what for me was a most uncharacteristic whim, I saw a Body by Wacoal racerback and took up the offer to get fitted. Surprise! I'm a 36D! Perfect fit. Wore it out of the store as I didn't want to chicken out on the $46 tag. It was now or never. I've searched around for the other 3 regular strap style for a good deal less. Hot pink is not my style, but I've got a serviceable range and it's not like it's going to show. My attitude now is that a good bra is good engineering or architecture. It's all design, material and, let's face it, fit. I realize this now. What I love about these is they are supremely comfortable all day at work, they give me a lift in more ways than one, the construction and materials are lightweight, but strong, and, this is a huge thing for me as I often bicycle to work, the thin, supplex nylon cups are very fast drying and cool. Best bras I've ever known. Read more

I really, really love these bras. So much so that they are my everyday bra, and I own 14 of them (two weeks' worth). The fit is perfect, they support well, and they are *comfortable*. And they give a very natural-looking look under whatever you are wearing. And this is coming from a person who needs the underwire support, and who is, shall we say, beyond the age of 'perky'. They also last very well if you take good care of them (which is why I have 14.. I only wear them for one day, then they go into a garment bag, they are washed in the front-loading machine on 'hand wash' setting, using this detergent (recommended to me by a high end bra store): Forever New ) I had a private fitting at that fancy bra store, so I know what size to order, and they are true to size. If you *haven't* ever gone to a high end store and had a bra fitting, *do it* (if you don't have a bra store in your area, Nordstrom's does bra fittings). So many women are wearing the wrong size! (In fact, I was - I was wearing a bra size too big, and a cup size too small - turns out lots of women make that mistake!) Read more

I have had two of these bras for over 12 years (really!) and with loving care, they have stood the test of time. The beige one finally gave up the ghost so I am replacing it. What can I say about Wacoal? They are the most durable bras on the planet. I machine wash in a bag and always air dry. And my 38D bras get some use, I can tell you. This is my go-to bra for wearing in the summer because it is lightweight and comfortable and doesn't make me sweat. Now it does NOT have the lining that some gals may want/need for nipple coverage but that doesn't bother me too much. I am more concerned with comfort and quality, and this fits the bill. When the black one I have dies, I'll buy another. I find that Wacoal has very consistent sizing in all their bras that works for my shape so I can order online with confidence, which is not something I can say about many other makers. I appreciate it since they don't sell Wacoal in a retail shop anywhere near me! Read more

This bra is almost perfect, the sizing's great, and it fit really well, but the straps kept slipping off, even when I tightened them all the way. I'm petite with a bigger bust, FYI. Loved it, but had to return it, bummer. Read more

I purchased in 36DD and the cup size is spot on. The bra band is snug on me, however, I will keep it and wear. I am going to purchase a 38D (sister size) to see if that's a better fit. If you are debating and are between sizes, I would size up in band and go down in cup. Read more

This brand was recommended to me so I tried it. I love the feel and support and made well. I will say I think the cup size runs a tad small. I typically wear a C cup but ordered a second in a D and fits well Read more
