This is a well made clippers set! I would give the clip-on comb attachments a 3 or 4 stars out of 5, because some of them were loose and didn't stay on well. We bought a Wahl brand metal replacement for the length we used the most (a #4), and with the metal ones we were in very good shape. Pretty good quality for the money, but like many other companies, WAHL is not as good as it used to be. The best example is this set are the scissors... which are total JUNK. They remind me of the ones used in elementary schools that can't cut a kid's fingers. Why they even include them is just to make it look like this is a pro kit, which it is not. Ordered the Wahl Lithium Ion Pro Rechargeable Cordless Hair Clippers to replace my old WAHL that I had for many years. OMG, I like everything about this CORDLESS hair clipper. It's powerful just like the plug-in version & it's not loud at all. Also the plastic box that the Wahl came in is much bigger & wider. A couple more clip on sizes were added 1-1/2 & 1/2 to tackle hairs more effectively. I brought this mainly for cutting my hair because I already have a shaver. But being that it's so convenient that it's cordless I find myself using this more as my new beard grooming kit also. My biggest regret is not buying it sooner. I love it & HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
