I did a lot of research looking for high quality knives that don't cost a small fortune. These knives are high quality and nice looking to display. The pattern on the knives could be more pronounce but otherwise they still beautifully designed. They come very sharp and ready to use. Handles are comfortable and the knives are well balanced. These knives are incredibly sharp and they hold a good edge for a long time. I have a sharpening stone that I will use when needed, but after two months of use, they are still razor sharp. In contrast, our old knives would dull quickly. We always wash and dry the knives immediately after use, and these should never be put in the dishwasher or sink. We have seen no signs of rust, but we treat these knives properly. The wood handles and the Damascus steel are beautiful. We have them hanging on a magnetic wooden knife holder. The size and shape of the handles are perfect. I love the way they feel and I love the way they cut. Read more
