These knives are incredibly sharp and they hold a good edge for a long time. I have a sharpening stone that I will use when needed, but after two months of use, they are still razor sharp. In contrast, our old knives would dull quickly. We always wash and dry the knives immediately after use, and these should never be put in the dishwasher or sink. We have seen no signs of rust, but we treat these knives properly. The wood handles and the Damascus steel are beautiful. We have them hanging on a magnetic wooden knife holder. The size and shape of the handles are perfect. I love the way they feel and I love the way they cut. Read more
