Walkerswood Traditional Jamaican Jerk Seasoning Mild 10 oz

I first bought Walkerswood sometime in the middle 80s. I just use it on chicken legs and thighs. Mix it with some melted butter or olive oil, brush on, then air fry, oven bake, or grill as usual. This really helps with seasoning food. Meats, chicken, rice. It has no salt or spice so you have ro add it. I mixed it with all my other seasonings blended with butter, then put on the chickens. I added directly to the pot with olive oil, onions garlic and green peppers thyme and hot pepper and salt to make rice. Get it !!!!!! Read more

Overall, I like it. It's not a very strong Jamaican flavor, it's like American Jamaican. As far as the spice level, it is mild, a slight kick of spice but it's mild and not constant. I wouldn't mind if it was a slight more hint of spice But it's the overall flavor not the spicyness that I wish was more Jamaican jerk flavor. I'm not Jamaican, I am a lover of the food and anything soul food related. I like it when this is under $4, usually it's over $8. I'm going to try some other Jamaican jerk seasonings And if I remember, I'll come back and report my favorites. Fyi. The Greens blend is nothing to write home about and not particularly flavorful in any way.
