It works! -Umbrella w/cain handle -Umbrella wo/cain handle -Cain with Umbrella attached -Cain - slim and extra light /fine cain-it works on all. Slim cain is solid... the cain is STRONG. I'm 68 and need a cane while walking sometime for balance . (Got mashed between 2 trucks in 99 and the "effects" are getting worse)... and this fits the bill perfectly. Most folk don't realize the cane is for BALANCE- NOT to support full weight (that's for crutches). I'm also a master at SV (Sobrevivencia-- the cuban CANE art for self- defense based on aikijutsu and extremely effective). This is PERFECT for that too.. I can show you how to easily fend off multiple attackers that are younger, faster, bigger, stronger etc.. and not even get out of breath. THis is a great umbrella too- perfect size for me. I got the longer one that is height adjustable!! I will recommend these to everybody. Read more

I can't really find a fault with this umbrella cane. Easy to open and close but stays firmly in place once open. Nice that it can be separated into just cane. Has a beefy bottom so is stable for elders. It would be nice if the adjustable height could accommodate shorter people. If you are 5 ft 2 in or shorter then maybe not for you. I bought this for my mother inlaw who is 4 ft 11 inch but I was able to shorten height because I had a pipe cutter so was able to remove about an inch. Not ideal for her but she kept it. Read more

This umbrella/cane is a beautiful idea beautifully made. It is perfect for travel! Any experienced traveler knows that terrain can be difficult, sightseeing can become exhausting and weather can be unpredictable.
