This insole is very reasonably priced and a good value for a replacement insole capable of providing some real relief for plantar fasciitis. It is also a good general purpose insole for everyday foot comfort. Unlike some other plantar fasciitis insoles I have tried, this does not have any hard plastic component to it. Its arch support and heel cup is made of a firmer type of foam (blue) than the main surface foam (red). It's possible that will be less durable but it is very comfortable. As mentioned, I got this for relief of plantar fasciitis, and heel pain which was significant with the insole that the sneakers came with was immediately much improved when I put this replacement in. I simply trimmed the WalkWei insole with scissors to the same length and shape as the sneakers insole I was replacing. It was fast and easy to prepare and install in the shoes. My shoe size is women's 10 but they may fit a slightly smaller size and also larger sizes. It would fit at least a men's size 10, I'm not sure exactly what size range this is for. One very important good feature is that these insoles were not so thick they will make your feet crowded in the shoes. I put them in Merrell sneakers and they were relatively similar in thickness to the insoles that originally came with the shoes. The softness of the red foam was helpful, of course, but the thing that made such a big difference was the good arch support. This has sufficient support while also molding to your foot well since it is foam. Again, I do not yet know how that will continue to function over time but currently I am more pleased with the WalkWei insoles than with others that had a hard plastic arch support and heel cup and cost a lot more. So I recommend this as worth a try especially for the more reasonable price. Read more
